Hello Kawmunnity. I started this thread because I noticed there was no advice for choosing between Nobs and Xtals, and I thought there should be at least something on the subject. First, let me list the current deals (not sure if they are the same on all devices, I am on pc) Nobility Points: 20 Nobs for $1.99 50 Nobs for $4.99 125 Nobs for $12.49 500 Nobs for $49.99 1,000 Nobs for $99.99 Health Crystals: 5+1 Xtals for $4.99 20+12 Xtals for $19.99 100+68 Xtals for $99.99 -Trade-Off- Ok, so there is a huge trade-off between buying Nobs Vs. Xtals. Obviously if you buy the Xtal packs you get more regenerations total. But Nobs can be used for several different things. Use 10 Nobs for 1 regeneration (same effect as Xtal) Use 15 Nobs to instantly receive a sum of Gold (amount depends on current strength) Use 20 Nobs to change your name Use 1 Nob to purchase 1 speaker from the Supplies tab Use 100 Nobs to make a new clan So really it comes down to what you think you would use the Nobs for. If you only want them for regeneration then it goes without saying you should buy Xtals instead. What about that instant Gold? Well with the current 3x Hauntings in place this is a waste, but since they aren't permanent we will assume they have ended. So I did the math. Currently for 15 Nobs I can instantly receive 2Bil 954Mil. If I unload once on a regular Haunting including tax I get roughly 2.5 - 3 Bil which is about the same as paying 15 Nobs. Since you can get more regens for the money by purchasing Xtals, you make about the same amount of Gold (or more depending on the EB *hint* 3x Haunts), and you are also contributing more toward an EB (since not getting Gold instantly) it's really a no brainer in this situation. What are the benefits of buying 1,000 Nobs at once? NOTHING buy 1,000 Nobs at once or individually buy 20 Nobs 50x = 1,000 for the same price. So if you need Nobs for something like speakers, to buy a clan or to change your name just buy what you need, you aren't missing out on anything. What are the benefits of buying 100 Xtals at once? YOU GET 68 MORE! But what about the $20 Xtal Pack? Well if you buy the $20 Pack 5 different times you get a total of 60 Free Xtals, this means that buy purchasing the packs in increments of $20 you miss out on 8 Xtals (to me that is worth it, because I don't want to spend $100 at once). Likewise if you purchase the $5 pack 20x you end up paying $100s total and get a total of 20 Free Xtals. So looking at the options I would recommend buying Xtals in increments of $20 because it is more affordable and you still get close to the same amount of bonus Xtals. ~Comments appreciated. Very helpful post. Nobs have a variety of use Vs xtals that have only one use. In the long run though, I would suggest you buy the 100xtal pack if you are going to play long enough, 8 extra xtals are worth it. This guide could also have included pro pack comparison as they give free/bonus xtals as well.
I'd say buy the $49.99 propack and then use te nobs from that to buy all the other packs, afterwards you have all packs plus about 40-44 regen worth of nibs and Xtals. Lol best deal in my eyes for first timers
I have noticed that if u make purchases on phone using iTunes ur charged tax. However if u buy using pc and go through a PayPal account, ur not charged tax. So u can save some money by going through pc vs. iPhone. But like me alot of the time I'm not at my pc and I gotta have then NOW. Lol
Kam u have to buy the propacks with Nobs and they give u xtals and speakers with them. Changed from the old days where they gave nobs with propack purchase lol
