No match / rancor spell: finishing EB before a scheduled war

  1. Hello all,

Im not sure if this has been discussed before, but i just encountered my first "no match" and saw that we get the rancor EB. Sweet. But wait, we only have 30 minutes to start.

Normally we have an hour to finish the EB between matchup and war, but getting a no-match we have to hurry up and finish in 30 minutes? Where's the logic in that? So we're faced with 3 options:

    1) Forfeit the EB. Pro: 10 people get 10-14 mith. Con: a bunch of people (47 people in our case) don't get their end plunder bonus.

    2) Crystal through it and do both EB. Pro: Everyone gets everything that they want. Con: Except for those of us who save their xtals for war.

    3) Finish the EB and ignore the Vanishing Paladins EB. Pro: Everyone gets their end plunder. Con: No mith reward for a no-match.

ATA really needs to award a no-match spell that lasts an hour. That would fair and just, and would alleviate the whole dilemma.

  2. If that were the case, a clan could finish TVP
In 40 minutes, then start it again and do it

  3. It doesn't really need to be time-based, that's just how ATA decided to do it. Clearly a flawed methodology.

  4. We went with option D: delay too long, forfeit, start TVP, nobody can hit.

    Awesomesauce.

  5. Welcome to The Vanished Paladin EB.

  8. Lol you actually have to start it within 14 minutes because there is a 15 min wait for eb to start after you wait you have one minute to get a scout in (the action required with the rancor buff)
