Hell forum! I'm at a cross road here. This up and coming week has some interesting football games that would fit nicely into our score picking contest, and I can't really decide, so, I'm opening this up to a forum vote. You may vote once per page on the game you'd like me to run, and every vote MUST be accompanied with a reason or I won't count it. All here are the 3 choices you have this week. 1. Seahawks Vs Bears The winner of this game is a forgone conclusion. The Seahawks will easily win this one. They are still a pretty good team, and they will be desperate for a win after a stinging loss to both the Rams and Green Bay. Picking on this game will be easy in that we have a very high probability of knowing the winner. The real challenge will be trying to predict the exact runaway score. 2. Broncos vs lions Peyton manning is getting long in the tooth, but he still has brilliance About him, and honestly, the lions are a second rate team, so, the winner should be easy to pick. Look for a Broncos win. This game may be a bit easier than the Seahawks Bears game, as the Broncos should win easily but not run away with the score. Look for a solid "W" from the Broncos, but don't expect a curb stomping. 3. Dolphins Vs Bills This could be a fun game as the teams are fairly evenly matched. Of the three games in today's list, this will be the most "traditional" with a good common sense score and a coin toss to determine the winner. Personally, the bills looked good against the pats and scored high against a stiff defense, so I give them a slight edge, but the game really could go either direction. So, there are your choices! 3. Dolphins vs Bills. This game is the only game out of the three where either team can come out the victor. Providing the most interesting scores. The other two are a given on who will win. And that just isn't fun. Who cares if there isn't a winner, the pot just keeps getting bigger so when finally someone does win, it'll be well deserved.
So far, the Bears have had a pretty brutal schedule, so, yo can take some comfort in that. Plus, cutler won't be playing this next game, so, you guys may actually do pretty well!
I still remember the game when Culter freaking threw an interception at the touchdown zone when we were going to the win the game against the packers. This was the match to decide who will go to the Super Bowl too.
Dophins vs Bills as this is the most unpredictable game here due to the match up. Will allow for a wider variety of scores to be picked. Both teams can play defense and both can score. Could be a big scoring game or a smash mouth low scoring game.
Although I respect sports like cricket, it's a game I do not fully understand, so I'd probably run that contest poorly. Also, the way points are scored in American football makes the scores extremely difficult to predict. Games like baseball, soccer and even hockey would produce winners every single time due to the nature of how the points are tallied. If you wanted to run a cricket game in forum, you certainly may, and you could buy a seal of the damned for the winner.
Dolphins vs Bills: I don't envision the Bills losing this game. They rank better than Miami in almost every statistic, and played two stellar offenses in Indianapolis and New England. They are itching to avenge their loss last week, and I imagine will hold Miami to very little offense. I will be especially bold in saying that the Bills will run the score against them, which normally I wouldn't say unless I was confident in the matchup. I am confident in the matchup. Update: After totally getting incorrect what the thread is about, I am amending my statement. I think, while I am confidently saying the Bills will win, the chance for an upset is very high in this one as both teams are still unproven. The dynamic in scoring predictions could make this a variable game to run.
