Ok I'm not all flash and or able to make this thread look as cool as many others, I simply had a idea, one that I have had for sometime..This idea is one of simplicity and is Implemented in many many other games I play. I suggest that KAW actually starts to have more servers.... Yes sounds wild doesn't it! Why on earth should new accounts have to compete with VIP users and 5year old accounts ? The brutal reality of it is this, many of these players have been doing volley transfers and drop vollies for some 4-5yeats, they have been hitting the highest paying ebs for years, max xstalling daily and getting the meat awards chest plunder boosts etc.Previously to this rey were also hitting the biggest osf and oafs the game had available at the time.. You can simply make bfa you cannot compete on a even lvl...They have had too much time and gained too much of a lead for anyone to compete So my proposal is somewhat radical and extreme yet simple.Lets have more servers/platforms where we can play and essentially start again. Many many games have this system and then often merge the servers together if or when the players have obtained the equal footing.. This eradicates many many problems ie hit restrictions,and will actually encourage new players so come and actually stay. So if any of you VIP users read this can you send a PM directly to Devs to get this started Ty. Shouldn't take you more than a few days to get this imposed... Thanks for reading guys just a little thought one that could help out a lot of new players. Feel free to post comments your opinions, good or bad I care not really.
The underling concept is good. The details would be many to implement in a robust fashion. Definitely worth exploring.
This Sounds Like a really good idea to me.. It would just be like levelling up & training newbies & making them stronger until they are ready to compete with the big bad boys :!
The only issue is that the VIP members will have a rage about it, because who will play on a server 5 years old when they can simply start in a level playing field ? So they simply expect people to play with a estimated 0% chance of winning... KaW will surely die if something isn't put into place to close the enormous gap, the sad truth is I cannot personally see any other way for this to fixed/changed or altered other than having many other servers..They could create it also so you can move from server to server, each server having a single account. It would also drastically cut down the amount of people feeling it is necessary to bot. Yes a very controversial subject but botting has a does take place another issue that causes and unfair balance to the game for the average honest players.
I would honestly like to see two new servers. I think this server should remain as the "Legacy" server as it was the original server. The two new servers would be as follows: PVP Server - There are no ebs on this server. Quests will still exist but obviously hitting other players will still pay better. EE wars will be enabled however there will be a one month delay from the start of the server for EE wars to start in order for players to get started. PvE Server - This server is purely PvE and is more relaxed in general. This server should release the next eb tier once the devs feel the server is ready for it. HTE and ROTWB won't be present on these servers (will remain on legacy) PvP cannot occur however the rules would need to be stricter in order to keep the peace between players. EE wars would be removed from this in order to make item hunting more desirable. I feel like these additions would keep the current server (legacy) valid for all players to use however new players can also try out different play styles on the new servers. If enough players support this I will happily forward this onto the devs as this can be made a viable solution to keep players interested in the game as well as catering to all play styles. On top of this the code is simple for the devs to sort out all they would need is more server capacity and more willing volunteers to moderate them.
There was a lot of commotion over this recently where ATA had contacted specific members giving them higher priority support as well as a chance to say what they wanted to see in KAW. Read around the forums a bit in the active topics and you will most likely see some of the info.
Support this could work but doubt devs will do it they to busy sucking people's money out of there wallets with events
In fairness new servers always generate money. Everybody is at a level playing field or somewhat close level and they are all vying to be THE big players. They spend money to get there and keep spending to stay there. However this would only work if KaW had a steady intake of new players. The evidence suggests otherwise.
Definite support. I like how people can learn to play both ways, and go back to somewhat the older days in the PvP server.
An new server would create more competition between players. Being on top would be attainable(at least at first) and many people that have stopped spending here because that goal is unattainable will spend money again in an attempt to be on top. The majority of people have stopped spending money here to chase LB because it is an unattainable dream unless you spend 20-50,000$. A new server would make that a possibility. I don't doubt at all they would make a lot more money on a new server than they do with this one because a new server would mean A LOT more competition. Competition is what drives sells. No one buys gold so they can be bigger for no reason. It's always to be bigger than the next guy. That competition is dead in this server. Will never return. I second a new server. I for one will never spend money on this game again, unless there is a new server. Until then I spend my money on other games that have new servers where I can compete with the rest of the people on the game
I support new server new start but makes me wonder if the LB here would create new accounts there spend hundreds there too and dominate again lol
