Don't listen to these chumps saying you have a "poor effort" for a clan thread, just because it doesn't fit their view of what they want to see as a thread format. Pictures and gifs with color text don't make a clan. If people want to be in your clan, they're not going to be there just because you put some fancy pictures on a forum.
