New Found Hope NFH Chp 1 Early in the morning the smell of flowers and the ocean lifted itself up to Anna's loft in her familys seaside estate. As she rolls over on her back to get out of bed, a glimps of the sun out her window draws her closer. "Begaining the day with a sunrise is a good way to start" thinks Anna. Suddenly looking down Anna finds Metalic Creed wariors approaching her cottage. Quickly she reaches for her bow as They creep ever closer suddenly they break into a run. Without thinking Anna fires an arrow into a knights neck. Crumpling to the ground one knight is halted four more continue on their sprint. Shooting off another arrow into a leg she then retreats out the backdoor just as the remaining three break in. Running faster and faster Her heart beat slows gradually. Now walking, she looks for a shelter. Spotting a large tree and some good wood Anna smiles and says to herself out loud "well things are looking better and at lest I don't have those guys still after me." Feeling two hands on her arms she knows she's in a pickle. The brutes quickly wrestled her the ground. Kicking, cursing, and screaming she resists but they hold her down then the smaller ties Anna up and they heave her on a horse they then the horses gallop until they reach a large camp. The larger man puts her in a tent then leaves. Another man enters looks cruel tall well built smells like a rotting trash dump and around his mid-thirtys. "I'm the torturer" he says with a evil laugh. "Now where are they?!" "Where are who" Anna replies innocently. "The Forsaken." "Who?" "The biggest treat to my liege's empire you idiot!" Smerks the torturer. "I don't know, I have never heard of them before." "They kill our warriors, they butcher his sheep AND YOU KNOW NOTHING?!" "Did I not make myself clear?" Anna calmly relpies. "Guards! He screams as he leaves the tent. She hears somthing else he says before his voice fades "get me the iron maiden NOW!" Remembering that she has a knife on her side she quitely rubs the rope on it untill it snaps a guard walking in just as she got up draws his sword Anna outmatched with only a dagger grabs a torch the guard slashes out at her. Parrying with the torch and stabing with the dagger her assailant is dead. Anna crawls like a assassin away from the sickly camp. She spys a horse that she moves toward. A brutish guard turns her way she closes her eyes and hurls her knife. "Bulls-eye hit him perfectly" she thinks "I impress myself somtimes." hurrying to the largest horse among the bunch, saddling up, jumping on, and riding away, she rides until a tavern is reached. Inside the tavern a man is telling a story about the country's history. Out of curiosity she sits down to listen. "Before your time Mathias united a strong group of warriors referred to now as metalic creed. He united them in the hope that they would protect the countryside, the citys, and attack neighboring kingdoms. But, not all things planned will happen as planed Cygnias killed his brother Mathias and after he convinced a majority of the creed they began building Cygnias City a few of the creed revolted however. The Forsaken was set up to destroy Metalic Creed and restore peace but in the battle of Cygnias Creek the rebels were routed now they rule every kingdom" "Wow........." Escaped anna's mouth "But why dosnt someone try to stop them." "Some have" said the story teller "but, those who have…" Being inturupted by two brutes bursting in he quickly finished his sentance "this is what happens to those who do" crushing a loaf of bread between his hand and the table he quickly disappears. Anna tries to unsheath her dagger but it was too late the brutes were alreddy within striking distance. She grabbes a chair and yells "bar fight" beer bottles are lanched quickly she gets to the ground as the fight worsens she sees a woman close a door a decides to follow her. As Anna opened the door a must smell escapes the cellar but her own will doesn't let the stench bother her as the fight is much worse. Advancing down the dark passage getting narower and the ceiling begains to close in on her finding herself in a wine cellar Anna thinks "I hit the jackpot" she grabs the largest wine bottle by the wall just then the wall spins around "SWEET" Anna thinks. Walking down a spiral stair case she slows when she hears voices "we must stop the advance of the Metalic Creed if their not stopped we will be forced to move back across the sea." Another deeper voice much like Christopher Lee's "calm down they will be stoped." Anna had been reading lots of novels at this point a guard is right behind the person spying upon the meeting. Whirling around and thrusting her dagger the guard crumples to the floor without a noise. "Man I'm good" Anna thinks then just as the words escape her cherry color lips a dart flies into her neck. *************************** NFH chp 2 CHAPTER TWO: The Bear "Cornelius" Robin said "what should we do with her." Cornelius looking at robins firmly built Body from hard labor while under the controll of the metalic creed finaly stated "let's toss her to the bear. "But what if shes the one Mathias spoke of." "Then she will kill the bear." "she's waking up Cornelius" ************************** Awakening slowly Anna woke up to see two men standing over her. "Trying to escape was pointless even i got out of these chains I would still need to escape though the rock wall and take out these two men with swords" Anna thought "were am I" she says "Doesn't matter" they stated as they unbound her. "So where are you taking me." Anna repliles. "To the bear cage" they say as they laugh. "drink this." Slaming the cup down and shattering It Anna screams "HELP." Just as she screamed they entered light, and hundreds of people yelling and the cooked game smell made her hungry but before she could get comfortable with her surroundings the guards drop her as they scramble away No sooner had they left the bear came out. The bear towering six and a half feet tall having a torn ear and a brand mark on his lower torso. Weighing five to six times more than her smelling like a pig after a mud bath and feroucious as a... a... well bear. As she had no defence she needed to attack, so she stated searching suddenly she spots a chain. Running toward the chain around the bears neck she quickly moves away from a swipe of his claw jumping on top his head. Grabbing the chain she begens to pull the bear throws her off his head and with a slash cuts a mild gash into her torso. In pain Anna goes quickly between his legs and pulls the beasts tail. Rawring in anger the bear throws his foot in her direction. Faster then the bear Anna jumps on his head and rappes the chain around the monsters head. While the bear thrashes about anna holds onto the chain for her life th beast slows and the colapses. The crowd gasps and what seems like forever the crowd is silent. Sudenly they erupt into a loud frenzy of which is silenced by a gesture of a head like figure and he procedes to speak "My Fellow Forsakenites" NFH Chp 3 "thirty-five years ago Mathias began The Metalic Creed which now threatens our existence we must counter-attack in order to survive and who will lead this counter-attack? Your mighty bear slayer." Errupting into cheers the crowd begains to shout "Anna,Anna,Anna." Blushing Anna turns around to leave toward the tunnel where she came when Robin says "may I escort you to your chamber." "You may." Anna replies. As Robin leads Anna to her room He asks "how did you grow up with such magnificent skill?" "My father was a great warrior." stoping at that Anna walks into her room and shuts the door. ***************************** "I wonder what she's hidding" robin thinks as he leaves and starts toward his own chamber. Walking down the hall slowly he spots a dark figure through the castles window. Just as soon as he spotted the ghostly figure the creature turns and simply vanishes into the night. Running as fast as his tonned legs would carry him robin dashes through the hall towards the forsaken's warlord Killin. Bursting through the door in time to find a assassin cut out Killin's heart Robin knows what he has to do. Lunging toward Robin mutated assassin flipped out his arm blade. Robin rolls toward the table and flips over it as he grabs a chair and candle stick. Because the assassin was in a hurry he pulled out a smoke concoction and hurled it at robin when the smoke had cleared the assassin had disappeared. As soon as the smoke cleared the guards rushed in. **************************** Walking slowly through a meadow Anna begains to remember her childhood seeing back before her father went into the army's service. in her flash back a meadow similar to the one she was in a small lake in the middle help shape the flowery clearing butterflies and rabbits frolic around the pine trees surrounding this paradice. her dad was teaching her how to fight for the first time after they completed the exercise he picked her up and began swinging her in his arms. signing deeply anna begins to cry. No sooner than the first tear came a Dragon ambushes her as the scaly beast jumps in frount of her path. Rawring ferouciously he swings his massive tail towards her. In a jump-roll type move Anna moves over his tail and hurls her dagger at him. In the dragons left shoulder the dagger felt like a frostly bite of pain. Being greatly inragged he spurts a firey inferno into her face. ********************************
