I D E A S…. ✯ REASONING FOR IDEAS ✯ With the new clan roles no longer new and most adjusted to it quite well, I about what else could be done to make the "Clan System" better? I am happy about the clan changes! My only complaint is I think the Charge Hands should also be able to accept member applications, but whatever.... Now the Ideas, Some might be dumb, interesting, cool, a waste of time, or even the best thing since sliced bread. Either way here they are! ✯ TWO NEW (ADDITIONAL) CHATS ✯ LEADERSHIP CHAT OR MASS PM: With the new roles, there are a lot of people now to talk to, discuss clan stuff with. Why not have a chat be able to mass PM the "admins" to do that? An easy way for the Warlords to communicate and give direction to their clan? ALLIANCE CHAT: Yup, just read the name, more on this in next section. ✯ FAMILY/SUB CLAN FEATURE ✯ What if, instead of putting an alt into another clan to start up a sub clan, you could buy one and have it branch off of the main clan? It would a literal extension off of the main clan. Where the Warlord & War Chiefs were only in the main clan. The highest position would be Commanders and maybe a few more Armsmasters to balance out the lack of War Chiefs and Warlord. The Warlord would be in the main clan with the War Chiefs, however, have the ability to go to the sub clan at will without needing to apply and back to main in their respective positions. Ultimately, having the War Chiefs available to go to the sub clan and either stay there for periods of time or simply run the subs if needed. Max Sub Clans: 3 (Number of max War Chiefs) Now of course with the Warlord & War Chiefs having the ability to jump back and forth at will. They should be able to see all the chats too. Now with the other proposed chats this could be crazy! On a PC this would be simple and not really an issue. On Mobile maybe a bit harder. Maybe for Warlords & War Chiefs they have Category's of chats? With WC & Allies as constants, the something like C1, etc... For the subs. Each with their own Leadership and Alliance Chats. ✯ ALLIANCE FEATURE ✯ I've played games that have allowed you to actually click a clan and choose your relation with them. Friend, Foe, Enemy whatever. I think that would be overboard here, but we can have an alliance option, with maybe two or three different levels of an alliance. ✯ UPDATE ✯ This would work like a friends request in a sense. Both Clans would have to be in acceptance for this to work as well as for the security factor of the Warlords and War Chiefs being able to hop around. Perhaps Level 3 was super basic, like just being listed, part of ALLIANCE CHAT, and not showing up on your battle list but not much more than that. Max: 6 clans Level 2, would have all of the above, and show up in an ALLIANCE CHAT, where we can all talk and chat it up. Maybe similar to an Allie you get a static bonus to all of your clans stats. Like 0.001 % of clan CS or something. Max: 4 clans Level 1 being the grand master of them all! All of the above, boost to 0.01 % percent static bonus Clan CS, Warlord & War Chiefs can jump back and forth (only have recruiter ability in Allied Clans) and finally... Some cool achievement for that level of loyalty. Max: 2 Clans Of course, addition of Alliance Chat, self explanatory for the idea above. ✯ CLAN INFO ✯ I put a lot of work into my clan forum post and have recently been updating it. It would be pretty awesome if there was a way to put that on your CP. when you click on your clan link in game, and the window opens to clan name, your role in the clan. Then members, history, manage/apply are there in buttons. How about right under that, there is three options for links to forum posts (only! Not outside websites) to put there? A training clan might put the eb guides, an osw clan might put the fight mechanic guide, or each clan can list their clan post so it gets more use than just the initial until people stop looking at it. Maybe a clan banner like the one in our profiles. Would be kinda cool, nothing really else, not needed just cool. Lastly, my favorite of all! Application restrictions!!! An option for the Warlord & War Chiefs only, to set a minimum CS standard that only if met would someone be able to apply. If not met, a wall post, a PM, news feed notice or maybe just a pop up, up saying something set by the clan. Limit the characters to that of a Wall Post.
You've come up with some great ideas, nicely thought out Support. It would make clans more versatile, customizable and 'related' (for lack of a better word) to other clans. And the sub clan feature could help a lot of clans. I know from experience it's tough to start one up while trying to watch the main as well.
I like the idea about mass pm's/leadership chat, it would stop as many people exiting the game to use 3rd party messenger apps but would suggest a better system be to give admins/players the ability to select from a list of the friends who they want to recieve the message and be able to group message them this way, also this would eliminate the need for an alliance chat too. i like the idea of labelling sub/alliance clans too but only for the ability to remove allies/clannies from the bl and to have it displayed.
I don't see why this would be needed. You can always use a group chat on a third party app for multiple chats. It isn't that difficult to go onto forums, go to the search page and manually look for a specific thread. Lawd ? Are people really that lazy to reject someone who doesn't fit their requirements?
Third party app is only there because the feature is not. If something like the chat ideas were implemented it would be beneficial. Name a clan that has 100% of their members in Line or Palringo? Please have a better reason as to why you disagree with something so a better or updated idea can be made.
The mass messaging has been asked for previously, not sure why that wasn't implemented as part of the "new and improved" clan structure. But support to that. It'd be nice if the higher clan roles had the ablity to kick members instead of the smaller roles, as they're typically the more trusted/active members.
Please all, if you support great! If you don't, and don't have and decent reason why, or can't articulate one with words instead of emojis... Maybe I should have made a pop up picture book. Just say no support. Or come up with an idea that would make more sense. Thanks!
I can't come up with an idea that makes more sense because mostly all of your ideas aren't greatly needed, there's also the fact that the developers won't implement half the things most kaw players want. Good try though, son. Goodluck.
Interesting ideas that devs should definitely consider. Mass PM/clan message has already sort of been achieved, with the changing of clan announcements now sending notifications.
