Mycelium Madness Fog coils over the Eldev Mire, where a half-sunken elven shrine lies buried in rot and ruin. Mushroom gnomes squat in its halls, their chants calling forth a monstrous frog crowned in fungus. Will you brave the swamp and claim the ruin’s heart — or be devoured in the fog? This event will be available from Wednesday, October 1st until Wednesday, October 15th at 12:00pm PT. This event consists of a primary Legend and an extra Legend available immediately, as well as a set of three side-Legends that will unlock the day after with 2000 collection items. These side Legends will offer players a choice of Easy, Medium, or Hard. The rewards increase with each difficulty level, but so does the challenge. Players WILL be able to complete each level once the previous choice has been completed. Regularly scheduled competitions will also run for the duration of the event. Competitions For the duration of Mycelium Madness, there will be a PVE and PVP competition running alongside Daily Duties. The first PVE Competition instance starts at 1:00pm Pacific Time, and the first PVP Competition starts at 5:00pm Pacific Time. Each instance will last 4 hours and as soon as one competition instance ends, another will begin. Exclusive Furnishings Furnishings exclusive to Mycelium Madness will be available in the Furnishings Shop, as well as the Eldev Mire Chest and Royal Eldev Mire Chest. Updates to Scheduled Wars Starting with this event, Clan Lowland wars will be removed from scheduled wars and replaced with Primal Wars (kingdoms stats only). Clan Advantage wars will be replaced with Big Individual wars, with one taking place each day of the weekend (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) with a maximum 50-player roster. Incoming Updates to Charm Caps Following the conclusion of Mycelium Madness, during the next event we will be adjusting how Allies contribute to charm caps. The exact timing is still being determined but this will allow us to ensure the change takes effect for all users at the same time. An update to the latest build may be required to see the display update once its live. With this update, Ally contributions toward charm caps will be lower than before. This change is intended to maintain game balance and ensure a fairer experience for all players. 🏹INCOMING!🏹 Watch out for NEW DEALS!🎁 ‼️ LIMITED-TIME OFFERS ‼️ Monthly Web Store Bundles from October 1st - Nov 1st! ✨ October Starter Bundle ✨ October Advanced Bundle From October 8th to October 15th Darkwood Whispers Bundles are live! The charm cap / war updates are pretty big (and welcome changes from the community) even though players like myself will get heavily nerfed It probably should have been an announcement
Awesome update. Perhaps make the big individual wars have an increased drop of pallumen? Otherwise I fear their will be same amount of people casting after 1-2 wars. lol
Reposting it here from discord: Firstly thanks for listening to the feedback and bringing back Primal Wars and the "Big" Individual war. Both very welcome changes and it is the first time in years that I see devs making changes to improve system war experience. Some constructive feedback regarding those two formats: 1) Primal Wars: At the moment, I can see only 1 type of war which is Roster Size: 20 and Restrictions Off. Please add more variation to this. Ideally Primal wars should have Restrictions On as BFA/Charms are the biggest variables which affect ranges, Without these two, I believe we should have more Primal wars with restrictions on rather than off. While I don't necessarily suggest doing away completely with restrictions in these as it helps smaller accounts participate more actively. My suggestion would be to add more variation in Roster Sizes and Restrictions On and Off alternatively. 2) Big Individual War: Similar point as raised above, Having 50 people reach the opposing cr1 is wild and should be fun but at the same time we should also have this war with restrictions on. In this, I can't imagine any top 10 alb casting as their bar will go down in seconds. Again, Suggestion is to have two of these wars a week with restrictions working alternatively. Additionally, If you want the Big Individual war idea to do well, The frequency needs to be reduced. Make it once a month or atmost once a event thing with increased rewards as posted above. I still believe restrictions on for this format would draw more people to war.
Primal = building stats (raw/base stats). Charms/BFA are not considered. Better have some good defense towers before stepping on the field for this type of war.
A quick update in regards to the change to Charm Caps, were we had initially said this change will take place on October 15th. Currently we can say it will take place during the next event, between Oct 15th - 29th, the exact date is still to be determined. This is so we can ensure the client update is rolled out to all users before we make it live so everyone will be able to see the visual change/actual value change at the same time. We'll try to provide an exact date/time if possible in the following events forum thread as well as communicate it on the KAW Discord.
