Chapter 1 - The Beginning ------------------------------------------------ David awoke sweating, aching and bleeding in an empty room. His arms were tied to a chair, the only object in the room, which had no doors, no windows, only a floor, walls and a chair. 'Where am I? What the he'll is going on!?', he thought. "Hello, Mr. Smith." The voice came from somewhere behind him, and was obviously a man's voice. A hint of... Deadliness could be heard in the words. David pulled at the ties his hands were attached to the chair by, to no avail. Until they burned away. Immediately, David sprang up and started walking around the room. First, he went in the direction of the voice. He found a radio seated on another chair, speakers caked in blood. He reached out to touch it... "Now, we can't have that, can we?" The radio and the chair disintegrated. 'Have I gone insane!?' he thought. "No, you haven't." It was a child's voice, in the room, just behind him, where the radio had been. David turned around, nearly breaking his neck as he went, and saw a boy, sitting at the radio's chair, facing away. He went to put his hand on the boy's shoulder. Just as his hand made contact, he noticed the boy had a knife. The knife went into Mr. Smith's head. ------------------------------------------------ David awoke from the nightmare, panting and sweating. But he smelled blood. As his eyes adjusted, he saw the blood on his suit, and the ties on his arms. "Hello, Mr. Smith."
Chapter 2 - Second Chance ------------------------------------------------ "Who the hell are you!?" David screamed, wincing as the ties dug into his wrists. "That is not of your concern." Just as he had before, David broke free and touched the radio. The radio disintegrated, but this time, something was different, "---bzzzt----You shouldn't have ----that, Mr. Smith" He turned around, just as before, and saw the child. Where the boy's mouth should have been, a radio was crudely stitched in. "---you can't do anything---bzzt---He's watching..." The child's eyes stared unblinkingly at David, for a while, before the child attacked. David's mind went blank with an unfamiliar rage, as he grabbed the boy mid-air and smashed him to the ground, taking the knife and ending the threat. Behind him, a door opened. Not thinking anymore, David ran at the door, and fell. He fell through emptiness, plummeting through an endless world of white. As he fell, he noticed a platform, quickly rising up to meet him. ------------------------ He awoke once again. He smelled the blood. He saw the blood. He felt the ties, seeming tighter than before, and he heard the voice. "Hello, Mr. Smith."
