Moving FF back to Active Topics

I'm half and half.
Honestly, this has been tried before, and got overwhelming support in the forums. Nothing changed, though.

I enjoy the privacy, and the ability to be able to post whatever's on my mind in TWC, but yes, this section IS dead, and I would be greatly happy to see the community thriving again.

 

I don't usually go into FF, but I will support for all those that do..

 

what does FF stand for?

 

I don't want to see this crap in active topics....


Active topics will be filled with stories from top to bottom and I really don't want to scroll through all of them. If you care so much to look at them you can go into a sub section of forums. As you said this section is dead, so why do we need it on active topics???

Have you seen how active Fan Fiction is, iger? You won't have to worry about all the crap that shows up in AT.

Here's how I see it:

Pros
-More Forumers write.
-FF Awareness
-More feedback on stories.

Cons:
-Trolls (Including those who are bitter about FF joining AT, those who just like to troll, and those who hate writing.)
-Bad writers? Is this a Con? They'll approve eventually maybe.
-FF Awareness maybe in a bad way.

If forums had a positive outlook towards FF, I'd agree with moving it to AT. The thing is no-one ever would give us a chance because we have a bad reputation somehow. There are three pro points and three con points, trolls being a big issue. If we could tarnish our bad reputation we'd be set but I don't know how we'd do that and frankly I'm just tired of KaW.

 

I support this idea, but I agree with others on the potential troll issue. However, these problems could be resolved with the implementation of good moderators.

On a related note, Fan Fiction itself cannot make this decision. This must be a choice made by everyone from all sides. Consider this.

I personally think that ff should go on at, i've been reading stories in ff since i started the game and some of the authors have real talent. I honestly don't know why people have a bad image of that section of the forums, it's merely a bunch of stories written about many different topics. Nothing wrong with that.

At least currently, we get people who attemp stories, not just post a thread 5 sentences long with terrible spelling and grammar.

I would loove to see more stories on here, but...I want good ones.

All you guys are saying is nosupport. Why not?

Why would it be bad if FF Awareness was spread? (it's not a disease, it's more of a cause. Not many people are aware of Fan Fiction.)

I also already addressed the "50 dbos running around our section" comment with trolls. It'd be annoying but we'd deal with it.

Again, I'm not for either side. I'm just pointing out you need to have a valid argument and possibly proof. (I'm taking this too seriously)

 

Believe me, Iger, we can and have handled D_Bo, and he's one of the most idiotically creative trolls ever to walk the KaW forums.
Also, if we had a few more good moderators, trolling wouldn't be an issue, as it is against the ToU.

 

I think if we properly constructed a petition then the devs may listen
