  2. No clue, Google might be a better source then kaw. 

  3. I tried Google got some info. But I need more facts.

  4. Ty for serving our country

  5. What do you mean you can't have flat feet?

  6. Go talk to a recruiter.

  7. And you really think your going get more information on here than Google???

  8. I am going to talk to a recruiter soon, but I want to know what I should say and know mostly what he will say: )

  9. In the millitary with a mental disorder? Never gonna happen

  10. Happens quite often actually. The military doesnt screen for mental disorders as a normal part of the recruiting process unless the applicant willfully discloses their condition.

  11. I have on their site, that to join with a mental disorder you have to go 12 months with out taking meds, and 6 months out hospital and same with out a pysc doctor.

  12. If you wanna be a military doctor, youll need to have earned at least a bachelors degree and have been accepted to a medical school.

Before then, theres not much a recruiter can tell you other than to stay outta trouble (dont get arrested), stay healthy (dont catch any diseases or develop any medical conditions), and get good grades in school.

  13. But I if the military give free 4 years of college. Couldn't I do my studies their at base *if* they recruit me?

  14. Thats not how it works. You may be thinking of ROTC, which is not a direct path to earning your MD.

  15. Your crazy going into the military

  16. Lol I'm not crazy I just want to help people and learn and serve my country and help support my family: -)

  17. I can't believe people come here for advice of that caliber over friends family and answer sites.

  18. I've heard that you can't graduate with a GED and go into military unless you get 15 college credits first

  19. Applicants who hold a GED are evaluated on a case by case basis. Also, each branch of service has unique qualification standards that change over time based on the needs of the service.

  20. When I joined the airforce 15 years ago was quite a good screening process. They checked full medical history with stringent medical. I picked engineering so they did take me from school.

2 years studying at a forces college. Out in the real world playing with planes then 2 more years training.

I knew a lot of the medical guys even pre qualified nurses had trouble joining up so would think doctors would be even harder.
