Marvin from ATA support, or as I would like to call him, "Marv" was extremely helpful in helping me solve the mystery of the ghost allies. See, my 40b ally was reset. He was my only ally. Miraculously, my plunder bonus stayed with me...FOR HOURS! I decided to query support to see if the development team was high on crack. Now, I have had some poor experiences with people named "Marv" in the past. But this "Marv" was by far the best "Marv" I have ever met. The response time in which Marv got back to me allowed for me to reflect on my life a little and I discovered I have been far too hard on myself over the past 10 years or so. This time that Marv had given me, made me decide to go on vacation and treat myself to some quality "me" time. I went to Vegas, met a dancer name Gino. I'm not sure if he/she was male or female, but MAN, it could dance. Gino and I partied hard for a few hours...then I headed off to Vancouver. Vancouver sucked. There was nothing there but Canuck fans. Being a longtime Boston Bruins fan has made me grow an itchy murderous feeling to anyone associated to the Canucks. So I left there quick. Alas, I landed in Florida where I had realized Marv had finally answered my email. He said "Willy, I see you now have 31 allies". Now, here I am in Sarasota, among all the Amish, completely dumbfounded at my own stupidity. Naturally, in the several hours I was touring the North American continent, I had purchased some more allies to help me make more plunder on the EB since Marv was in the lab trying to crack the code on my query. Why? Why for several hours of having ZERO ALLIES was I receiving a bonus from my FORMER ALLIES? Then it dawned on me.... I'm guessing, because I bought more allies, it doesn't matter. Life is too short for answers. Just live, people. Marv is a support person. But also, like Jesus. Marv Saves. I ******* LOVE Marv. You should love Marv too.
Sometimes I wonder if support even knows what game we play.. Marv and ruby and the rest of those computer automated support staff can get rekt...
I love that gif. Also prime, I believe ruby may have a reading issue, every time I've had to speak to her she messed it up.
Since when did Marvin become a developer? And since when did developers start answering support emails?? I must be behind..
If someone had stripped me, I would have had my full BFA. Freekin sweet! That would have been huge seeing as how I had the 200k CS from that huge 40b ally I owned. Imagine if I was on the LB for allies and you pulled a 300 brazilian strip on me, and I still got my BFA for hours.... Glad Marv was always there for me. Case closed.
If someone goes through your forum post history, you see a distinct pattern. You're just....fabulous.
