In my opinion a lot of these power house players rise to the occasion because of one simple fact, they caught the eye of someone already on top. Think about it, red-star is número uno followed by cella, and epixa is the most valuable player because she is owned by her lover stallin-khan. When maj was #1 his romantic interest was not far behind. All I wanna know is… why all the virtual love?

It's who you know, not what you know. This is a social hierarchical game - it's not hard to work this out. You manage to cast your lot with the right people, and you'll prosper. This is the higher class. The middle class haven't managed to muscle in on the top game, so they build friends within their class and prosper their, slowly growing closer to gaining the respect needed to become noticed by the big clans. The lower class are the lowest of players whom do not see that they are not recognised by any, and need to earn respect. Any MMORPG shows evidence of this, but the social systems of KaW have evolved strongly over the two years. The only place where these classes really grate against each other is here in the forums; and that's why there's a lot of friction here. People try and put others down as they vainly scramble with each other over social reputation. ~daT.
Thanks.. I think it'd be really interesting to get right down into the hierarchy of KaW and draw up a detailed report of what's what, how to gain fame and power through words and actions, what gains respect and where you draw the line between social and psychological regions. ~daT. ~daT.
