  1. So you guys won't like my forum post because "it's not long enough" or "no one cares" I don't care I'm going to post this forum haters can hate anyways Lizard Squad apparently has shut down Xbox live for a few hours don't worry it's back up now I think. But they have shut down PSN before also and shut down the MLG website yesterday for a short time. apparently Microsoft has found the location of Lizard Squad and has gotten the FBI involved but you know how rumors are you never know if it's true or not. apparently this was just a small gift to Microsoft as they have big plans for Christmas. So I ask do you think they will get caught? And if their big plans follow through on Christmas what do you think these "plans" are I'm interested in hearing your opinions as this is very interesting to me and I want to hear other people's thoughts on it.

  2. I think it was because a server got set on fire... Had 700 million people on it even though it holds 500 i think,

  3. So you think lizard squad is just trying to get attention? Could be.

  4. Well if you name yourself Lizard Squad, that's enough weird attention as it is.

  5. Dont even know who lizard squad is but ok

  6. I'm sure they'll get caught since Microsoft has a crap load of experienced cyber security specialist

  7. Look at their Twitter it's called lizard squad obviously lol and plus they are in gaming news today

  8. Aaah tis a sad day for KaWers..

    A moments silence pls

  9. I literally choked on my own saliva when I read that.

  10. ... If Microsoft knew where they were, and the FBI knew where they were, they would of been arrested by now.

    Or moved location

  11. Ooor you just say what they are… :/ a group of hackers i assume?

  12. Some say hackers some don't they are DDOS attacks some people say DDOS attacks isn't hacking some people say it is

  13. DDoS attacking is not hacking. It basically just overloads the server by sending a massive number of packets to make up a large amount data that will crash the system. Can cause things such as lag, freezing, rebooting, or whatever the case may be. It is not a great achievement and is too easy to track such people who do this. I don't care if your VPN's have VPN's.

    You WILL get caught.

If you want to be a great hacker, be like those who found a simple SQL Injection breach on the PSN website and got access to a large sum of credit/debit cards. That is hacking. That is a challenge. That is something that defaces a large franchise. A DDoS is stupid and useless unless you are doing it to people who are not as smart that you hate.

  14. If this happened yesterday then it didn't happen, played most the day.

  15. Yes it did happen yesterday buddy go look on Twitter or gaming news for Xbox it's everywhere on the web even on Facebook

  16. My friend was also affected he thought it was his internet but it wasn't

  17. Amen to that! Finally someone with a little insight lol. Lizard squad are probably 14 year old kids who think they're like anonymous 

  18. Must of been a different server then. I was not affected

  19. Infamous is right. Also I second Chop-Suey. I was on most of the day. Never went offline. So it may have happened to certain people for a tiny blip in your network but other than that an attack that takes down all of Xbox Live costs serious money. Like someone said, they're probably 14 year old Skiddies.
