I loved this spell, it was pure greatness. I wouldn't mind if it dropped less frequently and was easier to steal. I believe this spell has great money making potential too if combined with a new cash spell or two. A spell or two that'll protect Astral blade from being stolen, on the caster only, for a longer time that the spell that protected the clans sword and increased plunder. I think it would also be a nice function for it to give a small chance to steal aqua/inferno from your target too, but that's not necessary to make this awesome, just a thought.
I would love to see it at a permanent spell in the game. At the same time though I feel people will get bored of it since it only helped with shards/mithril. Maybe next time it could give a little bonus to those who take it? Give reason for people to fight over it.
the sword i ended the event with actually lasted until i received my rewards. the plunder bonus was still raking in hte amounts of gold off people.
The spell was fine how it was used during promo, we all got gear that adds plunded from pvp hits plus a spell that lasts a week after promo ended so NO support. kaw doesn't need any more reasons for build complete players to hit smalls also there's still a few astral blades in game that can't be stolen mine runs out in an hour
If this was kept in the game then it would really increase pvp, although they need to make the plunder fluctuate more. So hitting smaller people would generate even less gold while on the other hand hitting larger people would increase the gold recieved greatly.
Not sure I like altering the percentage amount received. Maybe a better fix would be a percentage chance that the blade will break be added if possible. The smaller your target the greater chance that the blade will break. If this added I don't think any spell should guard from that. Another way to address this would be to decrease blade timer some relative to how much smaller your target is than you.
Yeah, I like the blade, also an alternative way to make mith instead of doing ee, hmm... Makes me think that PvP players will go rampaging with the blade. x) sounds fun
No incentive for the devs to bring the blade back unless they can make money on doing so. PvP players are a mostly untapped market in this game. Devs need money to make KaW work, and this may help them make it better for everyone. To think, something like this blade could've possibly saved FC/GaW.
you're sorely mistaken if you think this will increase pvp. the only thing it will do is bring back pwars osfs and alt farming.
How will it bring back pwars? I thought those were nerfed. As for the rest, doesn't that go on anyway?
