Hi, this is just a response to a misconception that kaw_comm seems to have. First of all, players aren't being turned away by cursing. They're being turned away by the huge gap between players. PS: You didn't help that gap by creating those massively overpriced lands. But that's another issue. Secondly, this filter actually might increase the amount of bypassing that goes on. Players will see that they can't curse, so they'll just want to "stick it to the system" and bypass, which is a very easy thing to do. Just a little tidbit. Post opinions or whatever you wish.

Well one, you're merging two different things together to fit your argument. The gap does turn people away ASWELL as the language. CC isn't regulated. Post it all you want there, if cursing is a way for you to express yourself. Just don't do it in WC. Simple as that.
You can play whatever sized account you want, the gap is nothing. If you want to get bigger pay to upgrade. I don't believe in free handouts. What's annoying is the constant pay-to-win events with tiers only achievable by the very top spenders. I miss the feather and ice moth event with lots of obtainable tiers and maybe 1 top tier.
I've noticed a drop in the quality of drgn's (I think that's who it is, so many name changes) forum poss throughout the years.
I never meant to imply that the chat filter was the only solution we'd be looking to implement to the game, but it is one area we were able to make changes in relatively quickly. We're continuing to evaluate how players enjoy the game, what makes them stick around, and what makes them leave to make further improvements wherever possible. As for the concerns over bypassing, there will always be those who bypass. They get silenced
Any possibility of removing this update? Or perhaps having it disabled for users who wish to have it disabled? Added nothing to the game. The filter isn't what is holding back new players. Why are you all so oblivious. I would post my own thread with an idea, but then I'll get locked.
Oh look, you know how to point out the obvious. Yeah, the new feature applies, but, you won't be silenced for bypassing in CC. = Unregulated. I hope that clears it up for you.
Are you sure no silencing will occur? Your words seem to contradict the words of kaw_community. I mean, they didn't outright SAY it'd be people bypassing in CC who get silenced, but that is what this seems to suggest. Perhaps I'm just reading too much into this?
