So an incredibly massive change is about to be rolled out tonight. A change that will increase the amount of volleying happening. Imagine the amount of money you will make be 5% more then today. Except that your benefiting every day. 1. There will now be once again huge no name alts volleyed up. 2. Having someone reset their fake alt now will be even more damaging. 40% loss 3. The 1 mill made is nothing. making it less means even LESS. this is a pointless change. making 500k vs 1 mill when next land is....2 bill 3 bill? 4. The only real change is that 40% loss avoids the situation where people are intentionally doing massive volleying then dropping it. But that is also not really a change: on 100 mill, you make 14 mill from volleying. with change you make 14.7 mill. Lossing 40% means an effective loss of only 31% vs 30% before. so not really a change at all. So what was actually changed? now when you volleying you get to transfer money between alts 5% faster. Welcome to Kingdoms at War where alts are the real power. YAY Please discuss this rather then megan fox, your stupid inca/moc spam or your half naked pubescent phone pics.
transfer = volleying with the person you want to transfer TO. The amount you make by having an ally BOUGHT/SOLD = +5%.
Yeah but then you drop the ally. And I just had an ally get reset by the devs. Right before war starts. At least it was NOW and not when we only get 60%. I think dev-resetting allies should give a higher percents period when they're reset. It's not a choice for the person, theu just drop with no POSSIBLE warning.
NO WHERE does it state that the ally hire cost AFTERWARDS will be affected? It says you will earn 5% more then before based on the transaction. If the goal is to encourage transactions, increasing the amount to hire back wouldn't be working. ally market is based on value. increasing the gap between hire costs does NOT help value.
Dillybar people like you. That's ok. But since you pretty much did nothing in the all-star war and sat around so you could get an acheivement. I personally consider you a fail. When you campaign hard to be a mod. Your an EP1C FA1L in my book. I addressed your concern with math. If you make 14% now from volleying from say...1 mill to max gold. You gain 14.7 mill, volley partner gains 14.7 mill, ally will ONLY gain 7 mill moving forward. 114.7 is what you end up with in an ally right? 60% of that is 68.82. BUT your saying 31.18 mill loss vs 100 mill start. NOT the 114.7 that's 31% effective loss against what you started off with. WHOOOPEEEDDDDOOOOOOOOOO The act of volleying offsets the 40% loss.
why bother spamming off game changing news? This is why the majority of you will never amount to anything. You whine and complain about never getting anywhere, about not getting help, about not getting the chance to be a mod, about being attacking and losing 3 mill... If you can't understand that the game is making a change that will let you make money FASTER simply by "passing, transfer" the gold from a "legal" alt to the main... Then you should go back to ball in a cup. This is a cut throat world, the uneducated will act on rumors. not read properly... will think. OH THE DEVS ARE KILLING VOLLEYING. No. read the news carefully. Numnuts. If you transfered 500 bill recently because you thought that the change was negative...acting on your corrupt insider tips....hahaha If you paid off ninja-a to get some big gold transfered to you...hahaha
talk about these 3 changes. we need to get back on topic 1. The amount you earn from selling an ally will be INCREASED by more than 5%. 2. The amount you earn from being hired as someone else's ally will be DECREASED by about 50%. 3. The max ally plunder bonus for all players will be INCREASED by approximately 5%.
Ok so it's all good and happy for big people. So think about smaller people volleying. For the sake of this let's imagine 1 has 5b and is helping out 2 who has 85m money. So after they volley a couple times then 1 is going to need to drop allies to gain back money to continue volleying. I didn't work out the math, but volleying at those prices, with not a lot of back-and-forth going until 2 can't buy back, 1 would lose more money?
This change is designed to slow the 60-800mil market where many of us make our money. Also u need to take into account that u lose 40 percent of the allies initial value when xferring. That can be a significant change. I believe that these changes will hurt a small percentage of the most active traders. While be mostly nuetral to the average player. Though the initial growth of a reset or new player will be significantly slowed. This change is designed to conserve bandwidth by making high volume trading less profitable.
It's a 5% increase to the 1.5%, not an increase to 6.5%. So the incremental increase is really 0.075%. With the increase to losses on drops to 40%, the cost of $ transfers is now much higher. Btw - change is in - u can test yourself.
