I just want to hear everyones thoughts on the new album do you think skrillex fall off with this album or came back 10x harder. And same goes for diplo do you prefer dubstep from skrillex or trap. Please no trolls
Re: Jack Ü (Skrillex Pretty good stuff. The one with kieza is my fave. I'll be seeing them headline at soldier field in chicago this june for spring awakening music festival I hate how they put bieber on one track though. By far the worst of them all, and not bc i hate JB. As a self proclaimed EDM expert who has been an avid listener since the mid 90s and has seen 500 big name international DJs, i actually am pretty impressed with Jack U overall. And its pretty hard to impress me as its my most influential part of my life. I go out clubbing/raving every weekend, and pretty much spend all my money doing that because its what i love to do. I actually just got back home from seeing Dirty South for the 4th time a few hours ago Im not really a fan of Brostep, or trap to be honest, but i do like their sound. It mostly sounds like Skrillex, with a dash of Diplo. Ive listened to their album, and a few live sets and i already know they are going to be successful. But i hope they go back to their solo projects soon. Skrillex got alot of hate over the last few years but he has evolved into a real DJ. Before he was just a "studio producer" who would make songs on his laptop, and play crappy choppy sets and talk on the mic all night long. He has enough experience now to throw down nasty sets and not do all the annoying things he would do live that he would do back in '10 and '11. Ive seen him perform live every year since '10 and its like night and day difference to what he has become now. His range has become much more than brostep as well. Diplo on the other hand i am losing interest in. I personally love major lazer, and that moombahton sound. But diplo just makes trap drumroll beats now. He produces alot of stuff for main stream pop artists which i think is garbage and sucks. He is getting generic and somewhat bland imo. He is fun to see live though.
