Even with the new T4 guilds i feel that spies seriously lose out too much against attacker builds. The 2 new anti spy items basically nullify the 250k+ spy atk which a spy has. Yes its true that the def item would block out an attacker too but a spy having allies is quite hard esp if hes without def. And the spy attack items is kinda overprice if you use it to spy. Unlike attacker builds i feel that spy cant earn that much from stealing vs an attacker plunder + allies plunder. Ranking wise spies usually rank low in clans and overall ranking. 500k atk / 300k def would pretty much top every clans and lb. Does anyone else thinks this way ? Btw im not asking for a change i just want to know people's feeling on this matter
I'm a straight faward person and I'm sorry for this but, you and everyone who think like you need to get over this spy shît. If you think it's crap or not worth it or something then stop talking about it and get over it. Sorry if bad language it just gets annoying seeing people time and time again complaining about something when why not just get the hell over it and do something else useful with your life bars
I havnt seen anyone use all spy def pots, as it cost over 10mil for all of them. If a 'noob' spys, the player loses 10mil. With every defense pot, an attack pot is made to counter it. If you can't win with pure spies, use pots. And as for deciding whether to go spybuild look at blumpys spy espionage thread (stickied in stratagy section of forums.)
Benny, spy def. pots are only 5.4 mil. About the same as the def. pots. And they are worthy against noobs, if you already LC and keep money out at hand.
I'm mixed and I have yet to meet anyone on my list with less than 200k spies that doesn't use minimum 6 spy def pots.
I was pure spy With T4 guilds , I have and Ipod and and Iphone , I converted 1 to mixed build and keep the other one Pure spy for war, If you are even considering going spy Definately read blumpy's thread , and don't try and go full spy until LC . If someone has all the spy def pots or if they have Some of the new guilds or Spy towers You will need Spy attack pots and or Ally spy bonuses to overcome. this game has changed alot from where it first began, And will continue to change . The 1 thing that is consistent is that mixed builds do better For attacking and defending. Being pure anything is not easy , being pure spy is The hardest
You've always got a choice on your build. I dig the spy build -- it is challenging & you get to terrorize d0uchebags with total impunity.
Lol im seeing many people converting from fighter to spies and spies to fighter.. i guess the grass is always greener on the other side. Anyway i have decided to be a hybrid i think they are the most balance

I personaly just recently went spy and love it I kept 1 lvl3 sub and max plunder when I did it tho as I know from past experiance that is most of my income. I currently make 5mill a hit and with a clan farm and about 24 hits with all of my troops I can make about 120mill with it then I can beat the crap outta whoever pissed me off with my spies a win win situation!
lol pots are only necessary requirements - it never help stop attacker, only towers are the right protection
