introducing a mage leveling system

  1. Many players complain about the mage failing on enchanting equipments. For me, 9 out of 10 tries end in fail which is quite disappointing. Looking at the mith equip which can't actually fail when you enhance it (except the very first ones) there should be a way to (at least) lower the fail rate of the mage on the eb/event equipment you enchant using aqua and inferno.

So I though of a system which is equal for all players and had the following idea:

For every aqua used in an enchant the mage will get three experience points (xp from now) and for every inferno he will get one xp.

E.g. you enchant some equipment using 2 aqua and 2 inferno. This would add 2x3+2x1=8 xp to the mage.

When you reach a certain amount of xp your mage gets a level up which lowers the chance of failure. It is not important if you succeed or fail an enchant. The xp will always be given.

According to this here a table how it could look:

Level xp needed for next lvl % of fail decrease
    0 20 0
    1 40 10
    2 65 10
    3 90 5
    4 120 5
    5 160 5
    6 200 3
    7 245 3
    8 290 3
    9 340 3
    10 390 3
    11 450 2
    12 510 2
    13 565 2
    14 620 2
    15 680 2
    +1 750 1

+1 means every further level needs 750 xp and adds 1% on the failure lowering rate.

Of course the decreases add up which makes a 60% lower chance to fail than usual on level 15.
If you earn more xp than you need to level up it will add to the next level requirement.

E.g. you are on lvl 0 and have 18 xp already and do an enchant that gives 5 xp. You will do a level up and have 37 xp missing for the next level then.

I hope you like this idea! If you have questions left or want to tell your thoughts feel free to wall or pm me or post below this :)
