Sorry most will be grossed out, I can't find anything on the web for this question I have about ingrown toenails. I've had the surgery done at least 2-3 times within the past 5 years, and the same nail keeps getting ingrown. Now my question is should I have the nail removed or is there another way to stop them from ingrowing. The reason behind this is I play soccer and I think that's the reason behind getting ingrown toenails. Now this is very common so that's why I'm asking here, as I can't seem to find additional advice on the web from what I know.
I have had ingrown toenails as well.. Nasty little things. What I've done is when I find out about it I immediately start cutting the part where the curve begins off my toe. This is extremely painful but you are in for more pain if you leave it. If you can, get the toe in a bandage, pulling the skin away from the wound as to minimize the pressure between the skin and the nail.. I've done this once on each of my large toes and on one of my smaller ones. Worked like a charm though pain is something that you may become intimate with. Good luck, mate!
Cut off toes. Well you could try to use a small manicure file and always keep them as short as you can... Not much else I can say :
Your doctor should be cutting about 25% of your nail off all the way down to the root and then chemically burning it so it doesn't grow back. If you are still getting ingrown toenails on the same side of the same toe then your doctor doesn't know what he's doing.
Im sure if you decide to kick with the inside of your foot rather than toe poke it you might find this problem less and less likely
www.google.com Not sure if you didn't realize, but this is the forums for kingdom at war. Nobody wants to hear about your toes.
Common cause of ingrown toenails is trimming them back too far, try trimming a little less off each time and it should help ツ
