Unless it's been changed recently: Hansels are dtw to attack builds if they don't have gold. Hybrids are never dtw unless both sides are below 20%. Hansels cannot steal attack builds that don't have any gold out, but hybrids can. So yeah, there's advantages and disadvantages to each. Both can be stolen from indefinitely if they have gold and troops are not pinned, just like attack builds.
Hansels make lots more gold and if you're a tri-hansel then you get decent att. Stats 3 t5 att. Buildings(colonies)=700k att/defense stats(not combined) and still get nearly 5 mill spy stats.
Trust me, Hansel builds can't be attacked by attack builds of they are zero gold. They can be attacked by hybrids and other Hansel until pinned though. Unless it was changed recently, it's been that way for a long time.
I use to be complete hansel, it's not good. A hybrid that falls to more of one side is perfect. Like more attack than spy or more spy and less attack
That rule applies to pure hansels if pure spies have no gold out they can't be hit otherwise hansels can be hit at all times except when dtw
By the way, you can have less than 25% of your total explored lands as attack buildings and still take advantage of Hansel build mechanics. Doesn't matter if it's one building or ten, as long as it's less than 25% of your explored lands.
