How to make events more enjoyable

  1. Hello peoples... Decided to make this thread to help the developers understand more of what the community would like to see in future events. Please share any other ideas you may have that would make future events enjoyable for the community.

    Things that could be improved:

    -change up the ebs that drop the most items during the event instead of doing the same boring eb over again.
    -more items available to earn for winning wars.
    -more aqua and inferno for prizes would be nice.

    Ideas that were good:

    -Animus box concept was well thought out.
    -building tokens were something new that seemed to be VERY helpful.
    -liked the multiple parts needed to collect in order to create an item.


    Past event ideas that were good:

    In my opinion I enjoyed the way the feather hunt was run. This event made the community work together and figure out what ebs payed the most amount of feathers (and often changed it) believe by having more events like this they would be more enjoyable then having to do the same ebs over and over.

  3. Yeah really liked having to search for the ebs that payed the most, which often changed

    Uhm.. i guess some may be mildly entertained with promo events.

    Though im not a fan of them i do know of one change that would greatly bring me less frustration.

    Stop with the absurdly overpowered prizes/eq.

    Unless ofcourse one piece of eq is supposed to be the stregnth equivalent of trillions of gold in allies/bfa.

    seriously, there has to be a limit. we wont even need buildings soon. Just enough stats to hit hte for the next hunt event eq reward.

  7. Feather hunt had another concept that was good. The equipment rewards were not based on a top x amount, but on a high level of collection. Leaves the promo much more open and encourages more people to strive for those top goals.

    Still keep a special item or reward for top x amount players to sweeten the deal but the feather hunt seemed to have the best concept so far. These new ones discourage almost everyone who doesnt spend to their limit daily.

  9. Thanks for putting some effort into it, OP. But, the only way I will start liking promos is if they include PVP. NOT EE. NOT PVE. PVP!

  11. I don't know how PvP hunt is going to work, I mean I would love it simply because I'm in OSW, but we can always just farm an alt or inactive.
     
  12. There should never be an incentive to pvp. If you want pvp go join one of the great OSW clans or families

  15. The reason the feather hunt was as good as it was. Was it was 100% completely new idea and event!!! It was fun because it was something new.
     
  16. Unfortunately, the fine people at ATA feel that "pay to win" wars is the only type of supported PvP.
     
  17. What? Never be an incentive to pvp? Any pvp war based game has incentives to attack other players.

    If pvp remotely was profitable, there would be incentive to war or hit battle list. However, with the increased equipment and pot costs, being a "kingdom at war" is a money sink.
     
  18. I'm always engaged in pvp.. The point of this game is to make you own pvp. If it were profitable and incentive laced then everyone would do it.

    My incentive? It's fun..

    But there should always be a fear factor or risk.

    The devs shouldn't have to spoon feed you pvp. Go join one of the great OSW families that are in KAW.

    If it were easy to profit during Pvp and you were spoon fed incentives then it would totally ruin OSW. How will you crush your opponent into cf if everyone has revenue flowing?
