I've always been more of a forum lurker than a forum poster but I feel that I've watched and observed enough to have a go at a first post. I hope for only a short-lived bout of intense farming as a result of these words. I promise not to bring up such worn-out requests like a free HTE, or the removal of the 15min waiting period, or improve the PvP rewards. If I'm going to be honest, I'm an EB fairy who dreams of growing big enough to be effective in wars. Of course, I've drank too much rum sometimes and brazenly hit the battle lists, only to wake up in the morning with a mouth like a badger's backside and a newsfeed full of retaliatory incoming...but who wasn't? I wanted to discuss the concept of including risk into the EB hunts; currently there is no real risk. The recent 2014 Dragon Melee announcement was written in such an interesting way that it provoked great thought. "One false step and your clan will meet a fiery end"
What if each time you hit an EB which drops eggs, there is a small chance that a Dragon descends onto your clan and starts giving you the good news with it's fiery and smitey halitosis? A Valley Dragon would target one kingdom at random and desolate one lowland building each hour, until defeated. A Smog Dragon would be more serious targeting and disintegrating one highland building each hour, until defeated. Finally, a Treasure Dragon which would be potentially catastrophic for a clan and hence would be an incredibly rare occurrence could descent but only after a HTE or ROTW. This dragon could target multiple kingdoms within clans and could destroy any one single building every 15 minutes. Please feel free to let me know what you think. I think it would help reduce the monotony of B2B eggs hunting EBs and introduce consequences of running HTE constantly.
I would love to see world chat filled with: "OMG! A dragon is smashing up my kingdom" Or Dragon killing clans forming up of specialized mercs!
After discussions in cc, it seems that destroying the highest building might be a bit harsh. There would obviously need to be a massive payout for the killing blow and random drops of teeth or scales which could be sold for profit.
If they added something like this to every EB then I wouldn't get bored of EBs I am very bored atm lol Time for some OSW xD
Maybe not destroy the building. But let's say it becomes inactive for a period of time (no regens for that building, all troops inside vanish), or until the dragon is defeated.
It would be as if it were destroyed, but after a bit it would become active again. Or until you managed to bring the dragon down.
Ok, so the dragon could damage buildings which would put them out if action for a bit but not completely destroy them. That seems fair enough!

Make were it "destroys" building then once killed u get building back. But when building is gone u lose stats and the first to "kill" the other wins(dragon gets all of the players buildings[only players in clan at the time count but it gives u like 5mins as a "spotter" saw the dragon] or the players get the dragon's health down to zero)
I like the original idea. Though there should be a cap to the buildings destroyed during each EB and the dragon should only be able to target kingdoms that are active in the EB.
