has anyone done the math on pots cost vs return?

  1. I am fairly new to the game but I was wondering if anyone had done the math on cost v return at the end of ebs in rewards. I ask because there seems to be a normal curve to the cost v amount of attack/defense for the different pots.

  2. Depends. I may spend 12 million for one hit on the haunting. But I normally gain 20-18 mil for the hit.

  3. I dont think that it pays. its good to use the pots to be able to play a hard EB and to get the reward from the big EB. but it pays better in the end, when you dont have to spend money on pots. If you spend 7.5 mil per hit for a pot, you wont get 7.5 mil back in the reward. you get less.

  4. Its only a 1% better return

  5. In the haunting for an attack build, bonus at the end does not offset pot usage.

However, there are plenty of other areas where pot use provide a good ROI.

  6. a little math = my friend used 12m pot at Haunting, hes a hansel, he earned 13m per hit. He did 2 full unloads. He spent 624m but earned 676m. He earned 52m doing hits. But as reward he earned 1,7b. U need to remember, that pot usage is good only if you cover your pots with attacks. If he wouldnt use any pots he couldnt be able to hit at all. So the answer is: Use pots only if you earn more per hit than cost that pot.

  7. a player has lets say has 2mil atk stats. he doesnt need pots to hit haunting. what if he used the 12 mil pot anyway? would the reward be worth it? would he gain more than 12 mil per hit reward?

  8. That wouldn't be worth it because they don't need the pots to hit. They'd be wasting 12 million a hit

  9. The amount Potions help you in an epic Battle is directly related to your current strength vs the Epic Battle you are fighting against.

Very strong stats see no significant difference from potions or Mithril during epic battles.
Very weak stats see a profound difference (it can mean the difference between winning and loosing)

  10. Listen to wulf

  11. to those who didnt red it i said my friend was hansel, hansel need pots to hit. If u are strong enought to hit then you dont need pots, thats obvious. But if you are weak then you need pots. DOH!

  12. What if damage wasn't in the equation. Say i use 12mil pots for an EB regardless of whether they increased my dps. upon completion the pot cost is added to my plunder. Is the additional plunder per pot </=/> greater then the cost of the pot itself?
