Guild hansels good for osw?

  1. Hi, I have gotten a new ipad and starting to build a guild hansel. I was a guild hansel before but never got into any osw with it.

    My questions:
    1. Are Guild hansels good for osw?
    2. So far I have 1 elven temple and about 40 guilds. What else should I place in hf or should I place nothing else there?
    3. Do I need any defensive pots? If so how many?
    4. Is an allyless pure guild good in osw?

    Thank you.

  2. Hi Demons and Angels,
    any particular reason?

  3. Pure spy or SoS/Vol hansel are best in OSW.

  4. Guild hansels make good banks for osw and that's about it. If discovered they take a bit more time to clean out cause your enemy has to find enough accounts small enough to hit them. Plus their gold goes into banking instead of growing

  5. 1. I personally think that you need bfe on a GH to make it useful in any form of PvP. Bfa is great and all, but it only expands your hit range, which isn't good with such a build.

    2. My advice, keep it as low as possible and expand on your HLs. Don't put anything down in the HF.

    3. GHs are really vulnerable to attacks, and you can't really prevent them. Throw the thought of having defense pots out the window. SDPs on the other hand, you can stop someone's steals/assa at that low of a range with some SDPs.

    4. Sounds useless to me. A small pure spy does nothing in PvP but make your opponent laugh.

  6. Die for metal, as that is good, I would rather go more of an -IMF- build if I were to osw

  7. Wow Resilience, thank you!

This game in essence is just phone tapping but underneath its pretty deep. Quite hard to play.

  8. A gh is not good in osw unless your fighting a baby clan. Once you have SOS and vols as you're majority then your hansel build is much more affective and gives a larger range of targets to hit. Just keep your troops down.

  9. Great little pot burners too if you group together

  10. *gulp*

    Not sounding good for me

  11. It's all a mind game. What's scarier? A 1.5 mill CS guild hansel, or a 12 mill CS pure spy?

  12. I eat pansy-ass gh for breakfast. 

  13. Can you even hit GHs?^

  14. They suck for Osw, really easy to strip.

My advice would be tell no one your new account, keep it as a personal bank and OSW with your main.

  15. Put it this way a 12 mil hansles only has 200k troops I run through it with his 13 adp I use none and take 1.7 bil on an unload

  16. GH? Lol L2KaW. Devs are going to throw them out the window soon.
    Get big quick.

  17. HOW does a GH take longer to clear out? Get an attack build to whack them for 1% a hit and you don't even need anyone else hitting. If they take longer to clear then you just aren't doing it right

  18. I've thought having a GH but only as a osf, to buy my allies but I think it would be boring.

  19. Guild hansels are a pain to clear out cause being so small. If you're in a osw that's only one or two clans on each side and not big alliances, it's tough to get the numbers needed of accounts small enough to hit it. when t4 was as big as you could get this wasn't an issue but now most builds of descent size can't hit one. Then you through in the fact that most strips are done at low activity times you lose many of your hitters that can still hit a gh.

Granted, if you have easy access to enough small accounts that can hit a gh at any time then they are cleaned fast and easily.
