Guide to starting a clan Table of Contents: 1. Introduction 2. Clan Name 3. Clan Info 4. Making an ad(s) 5. Recruiting 6. Who Should I Admin 7. EB's I should start Introduction: So, you are a member of KaW who has decided to make a clan. Great, that's wonderful. This guide should help you in the process of making a clan, and making it become number one! But first; you have to be ready to put through the effort of growing you clan. The struggles, the hardships, you have to make it through all of those. Making a clan, is easy. Making a successful clan, that's a whole different story. A clan currently costs either 25 billion gold, or 100 nobility, which costs $10. My advice for you; don't give up right away, and wait till your at least maybe 3 million combined stats to make a clan. If your clan has 3 members after a week, don't give up. If you give up, you will never know the full capability your clan could of had. Persevere, and don't give up right away, stay strong! And work hard. Following this guide should help too. Clan Name A big step of making a successful clan, is making a great clan name. It has to represent your clan, make a good first impression. Don't rush your clan name, I would suggest, taking a few sticky notes, and spending as long as you need to make a list of possible clan names. Then, just choose the one you like best. Make sure it's not taken! Oh, and once you make your clan name, you can never change it; unless if you disband your clan, which isn't good! Clan Info Ah, you have picked out a perfect clan name, and made your clan. But; you need some clan info! You may be wondering, what should I include in your clan info? Honestly, the possibilities are endless! Here is a little list of possibilities that might want to be fun to put in your clan's, clan info. - Clan Name - Rules - A few ads you made - Alliances ( if you have any - if not, its okay. You don't usually find alliances right at the start) - Clan info art - Information about your clan - And any others things you decide to add! Yes, so make your clan info fun, make it really show how amazing your clan is! Be creative, use almost all your 1,000 characters! A lengthy, good clan info is always great! Making an ad(s) Making an ad (or ads) for your clan is extremely important! It helps you recruit people, and you can post your ads on world chat! But be careful; above 2 ads per 5 minutes will get you silenced! Don't know what to put in your ad? Here's a few ads you can do: (You clan name here) (What EB you are doing here) Join us now and get some gold! or (Your clan name here) Easy EB's on now! ️Join us and grow fast!️ You get the point. Just pretty much make an ad and make it how you want. Make it an eye catcher, and interesting. But also make sure it fits in world chat. If a message is too long, it will not allow you to post it in world chat! Be careful. Recruiting Recruiting is probably the most important part of making a clan successful. If you don't recruit, your clan will fail. You've made your advertisements, so go post them on world chat here and there! But do be careful, more then 2 posts every 5 minutes WILL get you silenced by a KaW Moderator. It is considered spam. If you are out of speakers, or can't post and ad on world chat right now, as a clan owner, you'll have to lurk through world chat, searching for people that say something like; "need a new clan!" Also, if you do successfully recruit someone, make sure to welcome them on clan chat, make them feel welcomed in your clan. I would suggest the second you make your clan, start a Warbeast. Don't try to wait to start an EB until more people are in your clan. People most likely won't come if you have no EB going. You may be thinking, but I can't beat this on my own! If you post ads and recruit, you probably won't have to. But if you wait for people to join with no EB going, you'll probably never have an EB going. If someone applies when you first made a clan, you should accept them, no matter what their stats are. As a new clan, you just need the people hitting EB's, they don't have to be huge. Who Should I Admin? With a new clan, you should probably admin people in a few days. Don't admin them the second they join, unless they are a trusted friend you had before you started the clan. But also, you need to have some admin's on to start EB's when you are not on. So if you see someone who is helping the clan and hitting EB's often, give them a day or so, then admin them if you continue seeing good things from them. Yes, you do run the occasional risk of them kicking people, but that shouldn't happen if they have earned your trust. Because at the end of the day, unless you are on KaW 24/7, you need admins. EB's I should start Obviously, you should start off starting an easy EB, like warbeasts. Then if you easily finish Warbeast, step your way up to the next EB, and then again, and again. If you are struggling with an EB, do the EB before it, master that one, then maybe try again. Based on how your clan's going, you should be the judge on what EB's you should start. If your clan is doing great, with lots of people; go ahead! Start a decent sized EB. If your clan is not doing as good, stick to the easier EB's for now. Even if you have to do back to back warbeast for a little while, you'll get to the bigger EB's if you keep recruiting and helping your clan members. As you get bigger, you can start some bigger EB's and equipment EB's. If you want to go the EE route, or OSW route, go ahead! It is your clan at the end of the day, you are not being forced to do EB's. But I would highly suggest you wait till your clan is pretty big to do Estoc Wars, and go to OSW. Hope this little guide helped some people out. It's pretty much meant to be helpful to those who have just made a clan, are preparing to make a clan, thinking of making a clan, or think they one day might want to make a clan. Anyways, hope you guys enjoyed and found this helpful, if you feel as if there is something I should add, just tell me and I will consider adding it to this thread.
