Hey everyone... New to EB's and having trouble finding certain bits of information. I posted some of these questions in one of my old threads but I'm making a new one so more people read it. I think the answers will benefit a lot of people since I'm not seeing a current up to date build guide. A lot of people are needing to restructure their builds to adapt to the changes and succeed in EB's. I was doing pwars as a hansel so I have 1 circle of elements and 34 guilds. I am of course now doing EB's. In the haunting I need 10 mil in pots per attack to have them land. This translates to 260 mil spent on pots each full unload. So what do I do? Let me ask some specific questions and if an experienced player or someone very educated about the game could give a detailed response (glares at Corinthian) I think it would be very beneficial to myself and many others out there. There is a lot of misinformation floating out there. When I read through posts I see a lot of mixed feelings... When I ask questions in WC I get a lot of different answers... I will post the questions I get ambiguous responses to below in a list format. Which is considered "better" for earning money in EB's? Hansels? Hybrids? Attack builds (titans? CF'? elements?) Do SOS kill more troops than guilds do in EB's? Do Cursed Foundaries, Elements, or Titan Lairs kill more troops or generate more money? In pwars you didn't need to have much attack in order to win fights since OSF's had 0 attack. Would it be better for hansels to have a few cursed foundries now to avoid using pots or will Titan lairs work just as well and generate more money? A detailed and explanatory response would be really appreciated. There's some really nice and helpful people (glares once more at Corinthian) Who could really help a lot of people out by answering some of these questions. If you scroll through the strategy section of the forums you will see a lot of people debating these things and very few fully explained answers; there is a lot of "you're wrong" posts follower with "no! YOUR'E wrong" posts. Thanks for your time.
I was using a lvl 3 sub, and the 7.5 mil pots, and landing 90% of the attacks if that helps you save 2.5mil lol.
Its is my opinion that attack builds pay far better than SoS spy on eb. I have been converting SoS in to t4 attack since EBs started. You will need much more than "a few" to not have to use pots. I still fail my last 2-3 hits about 50% of the time with out pots. As for the spy pay out...i get 1.189b per unload of both spies and troops. Assassins make up less than 20% of that. Hope that helps some at least. Look at my build amd this will make some sence.
What is your total build psycho? That's about how much I make in overall generation (not factoring in pots). I make just a little bit under 1.2b per unload with 34 guilds and one circle of elements... I'm having to use so many pots in order for my attacks to hit... but my overall plunder from 2 full unloads is 2.38b.. Subtract 500 mil and my net income from two full unloads is 1.88B. From a lot of other posts people seem to think hansels are a good idea, or do they still fall below attack builds?
And Benny, how many attacks are you getting with that? At certain points you start using extra troops. I can land some attacks with only the 7.5 mil pot also but I use more troops and then not only fail some attacks but get less. Using the 7.5 AND the 2.5 pots gives me my full 26 attacks and they all land. This is with having 1 elements.
15 SoS, 10 Coe , 7 Found, 5 Titan (all lvl 3). Its a little screwy due to a panic from being farmed. I just built the first t4 building I saw. But i think im going to end up replacing 4 titans with CoEs I dont think that will change plunder much if any. Im pretty sure you only need one Titan for the plunder bonus. And one CoE for the extra hits
Hansel builds are still very profitable, and useful, they will come in most handy in real war situations, so if ur clan plans on warring i would go hansel bc first of all it gives u spy protection, spys to use, and you can very easily close yourself or have another close you, if you just to Ebs it might be better to go a mixed build with 6-8 guilds and then all t4 attack and 1 ballanced building.
Correcting you here: Titan's give more ally bonus compared to if you build a CoE or CF, not a % increase to your entire ally plunder. In other words: If a forge and beastiary give 100,000 ally plunder, and a war cathedral gives 5% more ally plunder compared to the above 2: 3 forges 2 war cathedrals give 510,000 ally plunder, not: 525,000
I am not sure about a best build for earning money in eb's on haunting (as that was your example) I earn about 1.6 bil as a bc hybrid the same number of sos would do more damage than guilds would as your spy strength is higher plunder for the buildings would be proportionate to hitting other players or osf's if you had a few cursed foundries chances are you would still need to use pots. You could invest in allies until you are able to hit without pots but this takes a long time and is unappealing to some players Hope that helps
Thanks to everyone for your quick responses. Dragon: In order to keep the most amount of SOS's but avoid using pots... would the other buildings need to be CF's? To clarify, I am unclear whether the amount of units killed and the % of troops used to gain successful attacks is determined by troops sent, stats, or a mixture if the two. For example: because CF have a higher attack, would 10 CF and 20 SOS use the same percentage of troops per attack (assuming that still wouldn't be enough to get the max 26 attacks per unload) as 12 Titan lairs and 18 SOS? Would both of those hypothetical builds give you the same amount of attacks with the same % of success? would 2 mil attack points worth if Titan lair units kill the same amount of troops as 2 mil attack worth of CF troops? Would 10 CF and 20 SOS kill more troops per attack than 10 Titan lairs and 20 SOS? If so, would the 5% plunder bonus from the 10 Titan lairs generate more money from the actual attacks than the bonus at the end from the extra troops killed by the 10 CF's? Thanks TNT
the other buildings don't matter but i think it's about 30 mil attack needed to win with minimum troops loss (this is 600k attack at full troops or less if you have allies) i don't know how much damage is done per building i am just speaking from personal experience and in regards to my build
The question is whether doing more damage in EB gives u more $, which I believe it does. I have decent allies strength but regularly use the 12 mil pot because I do about 57/60 points of damage as opposed to 4-5 without. I tested this when I was a pure guild hansel (switching to SoS) and it turned out that with the same # of hits and steals in 2 separate PWs I came out making more at the end if I used pots. This should be tested more methodically but there seems to be a correlation.
I usually hang pretty close as hansel vs our top attack builds in haunting. Hourly average goes up and down with clan participation and how much of the item use I get in but all in all hold my own. Of course this does not include pot prices, and I have 1 Coe, 35 SOS, and 1guild lol, bought 38th land and just threw the guild up cause I could.
All I know is my main has the following: 07 CoEs 34 SoS For The Haunting: 1st 8 hits no pots 2nd 2 hits 1m pots 3rd 4 hits 2.5m pots 4th 2 hits 1m 2.5m pots The rest of hits 7.5m pots First hit earns 34m till 26m last hit Assassinations earn 185 to 195 of damages x36 Attack earns 75 to 85 in damages x26 So in one The Haunting using 6Xtals, he earns 11.3b in 2.5 to 3.5 hours
@OP, to be honest my earlier posts were at the responses. Here's my own weigh in: Hybrids do better than pure spy/pure attack/hansel/reverse hansel in epic battles. SoS does more damage than a Guild does, as damage is based off of spy strength. Out of the 3 troop buildings, each of their benefits still apply to epic battles. CoE gives 2 more hits, slower regeneration, highest combined. Titan gives middle combined out of the 3 but gains 5% more ally plunder than a CF or CoE. CF has lowest combined but highest success rate/attack.
