Intro: thousands of years ago, the goddess Gallia created an entire civilization that was named after her. The people knew nothing of war and were always kind, until the neighboring country invaded thier lands. The people were always kind, until the neighboring country invaded thier lands. The people prayed to Gallia, but the goddess did not answer their prayers, leaving the people in the hands of their enemies. Over the years, a group of people who despised the occupying army, trained and waited for the perfect day to strike.
Chapter 1: Present Day "Hurry or we'll miss the meeting. "I would hurry if I knew my way around these parts, who host a meeting in the sewers anyways? "Well, unless you want the Demonian soldiers to catch us, I suggest you hurry your ass up." "You know Kent, you're lucky Commander Bastion hasn't killed you for your arrogence yet." "Shut up, we're almost there." Kent and the soldier came to the end of the sewer tunnel and found the door they we're looking for, as soon as they opened it, a voice shouted at them. "You're late!" Kent and the soldier got on their knees before their commander and begged for forgiveness. "Just try not to do it again." said Bastion, the Commander of the rebel army. Bastion was a forgiving person, no one knew him enough to belive this though. When he was young his parents were killed by Demonian forces. As he grew up, he swore to avenge the both of them using his fathers old broadswords. At age 16 he was skilled enough to lead his own section of the rebel army and had been doing so ever since. "Now, let the meeting begin. Tomorrow we are going to invade an enemy supply camp. Two people will go in first and assassinate the guards who are on watch, we want to do this around midnight while the guards change shifts. Once this is done, General Angel will lead the main force in the invasion. "That guy gives me the creeps." whispered Kent to his friend Utho. "I don't blame you, we don't usually have so many demons on our side." General Angel was one of the few Demons that was on the Gallian side of the war. He had been branded a traitor and forced to flee his country with nothing more than his magical fire sword. "Ehem, are you two done?" asked Bastion? "Yes sir!" they both answered. "Good, because you two will be the ones taking out the lookout guards."
"Come on Kent, you're so slow." said Utho. "Sorry, I had to pee." "I cannot believe you, we're in the middle of a soon to be battle field and you have to go pee." " Just shut up and let's go." said Kent as he pulled out his daggers. Kent was one of the best assassins in the group, he just had some problems paying attention to things. He was so good he earned himself the nickname "Khaos" because of the destruction he would cause on some missions. "Right behind you." Utho also carried duel-weapons, but he preferred swords to daggers. He was not as good as Kent, but what Utho lacked in skill, he made up for in strength. "First tower's up ahead, wait for my signal then we fly." "Aye aye captian Khaos." whispered Utho with a smirk. Kent glared at him, then continued to study the tower. "Ok, his back's turned, lets go before the guard turns back around." Kent said as he started sprinting toward the tower. He and Utho skillfully climbed un the side of the guard tower and stuck up behind the guard. "Nighty night." cooed Kent just before he slit the guards throat. "That's one down, nine to go." "Can you see the other towers from here?" "There are two to the left of us, three wrapping around the perimeter on the right, and four scattered in the middle of the camp site." "Are any within archery distance?" asked Utho. "The two to the left of us, why?'" "Because I'm pretty good with a bow." Utho remarked as he took the dead guards weapon. "Just watch and learn." Utho looked to the left of the tower and saw the faint glow of torches on the other towers. With great skill, he put the first arrow in the bow while he watched the shadowy figure in the first tower move around. Utho pulled back on the arrow, took a deep breath, aimed, and fired. "Ugh." groaned the first guard as he started to fall. Before he evenhit the floor, Utho had already shot at the second guard. "And that's how it's done." bragged Utho as he started to dance. "Just shut up and start climping down." Kent had already made it down when Utho had started climbing. "Be careful" Kent yelled as softly as he could, "those rungs seem a little old." "Oh don't worry, I'm fi...." suddenly the rung of the tower snapped. "Oh sh..." Utho mumbled as he started to fall.
