Forum Notifications This thread is an idea that could help out forumers greatly Why should we read this? If you are someone who uses forums a lot, this could help you from wasting time to check the forums IDEA When you post something on a thread And someone quotes you, you will receive a notification saying (Ex.Crusher quoted your text on ex. BB Codes forum post) Post your thoughts and ideas/improvements of this idea and also give it a rate! ~Nefarious
Been suggested a lot. I do think it is a good idea though. It could get more annoying for the very active forumers though.
Don't know if you noticed but,if someone replies to what you've said in a thread the little sign on the left will turn red with a little red star. But if no one has replied yet the text writing on the left would be blank
Yes but that doesn't actually give you a notification. You have to go into forums to see it. This is helpful, of course. But notifications would be good. Even for when you make a thread and someone replies. Provided of course it can be disabled like -V- said.
I think that due to the forum software used it isn't possible currently and it isn't a feasible addition at this moment in time. I have no idea if the devs ever plan to code this in but for the foreseeable future I imagine they don't plan on adding this feature that is useful for a small % of the community. I myself would love this feature but again there are plenty of other ingame features I would rather see first with changes to EE being a high priority as well as a clan structure and feature overhaul.
Support. Forums have a great interface and notifications would only better the experience. But the horrible content... smh.
I'm pretty sure Keizer is right on. Unless things have recently changed, forums and the game are COMPLETELY separate of each other. Totally different platforms, systems, and programs.
