Gone are the days when your Videogame here was pixelated, two feet tall, and had a mustache that was a third of his body mass. These days, there are some amazing protagonists, with amazing stories. There are way to many to list so I'll keep it down to three. 1. John Marston It's no secret I'm biased to RDR. It's an amazing game. Frankly I don't know why there aren't more Western Games out there. John Marston is an interesting character, and one that I don't mind coming back to and playing as repeatedly. Jack Marston is a different story. Jack Marston sucks. 2. Nathan Drake Uncharted is another game I love. And Nathan Drake, for all his faults, is a great character. Completely brought to life by Nolan North, it's something rare to have a character that feels so real. As for the upcoming movie cough cough Chris Pine cough cough. 3. Lee Everett The Walking Dead Game Season 1 is one emotional gut punch after the other. Which you willingly take. Lee is voiced by the legendary Dave Fennoy, who's that guy in video games that you never know, but the game wouldn't be complete without. As for the character himself, anybody who's played this knows what I mean. It perfect. Now you tell me. Who do you most enjoy playing as? I fully expect Max Payne's, Michael De Santas, and Joel from the Last of Us. Go. I said go. Do it. Fine. Don't. Whatever.
Yes. Marston. I completely agree. There need to be more western games. I guess its hard to make them politically correct
They don't need to be politically correct. They need to be historically accurate. And history was a crappy place sometimes.
Trevor from GTA5 was pretty incorrect, and is loved by millions, so yeah.. I'd have to go with Conker the squirrel from Conkers bad fur day... Best video game character and story ever
Trevor is the uh... white elephant in this room. Somebody was going to say something sooner or later.
I spend most of my time trying to recreate the magic of RDR as John Marston in GTA online. And them somebody hits me with a car.
