FAIR EVENT

  1. In Indi Wars we get a FAIR MATCHING bracket ... why not same done for event? Why 10m cs will compete 500m cs for top 100? How can he anyway lol spend all his money and be lucky to be top 50? Make it fair in event with brackets or u keep killing game slowly...

How can he anyway...Lets say kaw has 10000 active daily users make event have 10 brackets each bracket has 1000 player to compete for top 100 i think this is fair for everyone isnt it?

  11. Support at the rate they drop its a night mare to even get half way even if u unload 24 times a day with out xtailing.
     
  12. This is an interesting concept. Perhaps the brackets could be separated something like 0-50M, 51M-200M, 201M-550M and 550M+, just as an example.

    The tiers of rewards for each bracket would each be the same and you're competing against people of a similar size. I feel this may potentially increase competitiveness and profits. Players may be more inclined to spend if they know they have a chance to get better rewards.

    However it also means that a LB player who might rank in the top 10 in events will receive the same reward as, say, a 50M CS player who has ranked in the top 10 for their bracket. I suppose rewards could be scaled slightly as I know some who could complain. I'm not sure how to correctly adjust for this in this type of model. Unless each bracket has different top 100 and 10 rewards which increase as you move up a bracket.

    Stats are so wide these days. Maybe this will add another element to events which will increase activity and spending and encourage new players to stick with the game. It also provides incentive for growth and to reach the next tier.

    Given BC is 1B CS now, it doesn't really matter what rewards are. Players won't catch up without spending. This would be an interesting thing to test.
     
  13. Nothing is ever fair in any online game. You got to accept that. The concept that there is a bracket, cs, or whatever classifiers to have some sense of game balance, is just a dopamine-inducing reward system.

    Given the amount of quitters and the exponential gap of numerical factors covering the game, don't expect something substantial worthy of fairness without the potential cash flow for the apes.
     
  14. Something like this would probably increase cash flow to them. If more players are able to reach better rewards and be competitive with others in similar size, I'd say they'd be more likely to spend. They'd expand their profits beyond the whales. :lol:

    This though, would need to be tested in an event to see how it goes.
     
  15. Maybe the devs want to kill this game slowly. With their other game to be released in 2017 they won't want to be reading the feedback from kaw and the ways they could "save the game" this game will soon become a graveyard like future combat. Instead of trying to fix FC they destroyed it. And then gave FC players a Shiney badge on kaw for the destruction of all their hard work.

    Meh, it'll be interesting to see how the devs play this one out with their new game tbf. They may own the intellectual rights and all that legal crap but legislations and rules still apply to ATA when dealing with their customers. They could still be dragged through legal hearings and so on.

    I mean, where I am from we have this thing called "Trading Standards" which is a fraud helpline. Even though ATA is a fully established business with customers and new business opportunities arising and so on, if they show to have mislead any players into thinking that you will be able to keep your account forever and have mislead you into thinking you need to spend money to grow to catch up with everybody else, have made you feel pressured into growing (which they have, let's face it) and then they rip your game away.... Well IMO with the right proof (key word is proof) you'd have a nice compensation case against them. But the legality to a MMORPG is difficult to understand (was for me until I read about it for a few hours) but if you can't get them for anything, fraud is a big factor. If a judge ruled ATA intently (Key word INTENT) letting all their players think that they can grow and grow and to do so they must pay ors you are not gonna reach that LB (which is the point of this game, no?) And then they destroy this once great game.. then they are being fraudulent, no?

    I dunno, I'd actually love to hear opinions on this. I'm not savvy with internet laws or whatever. But a paying customer is a paying customer, so in logic.. shouldn't that paying customer be treated as a paying customer and not as cash cow to be frowned up on?

    Yeah I boggled my own head >.<
     
  16. Bc peeps getting full drops on just 24-30 actions while we midgets take 150 actions plus to get full drops or shud be on crux to get the same drop but still the actions will be way higher...

    I support the idea of fair play.. Well atleast give midgets a chance to compete...

Bracket for money high level rich who will do anything for being top in anything lb or rank €) lower bracket for actives vs actives it will be great speacilly for new ones to be interested. brackets should depend on cs aswell... bc idea is good aswell maybe bc 1 build give more stats and bc a land also add in total maybe %? Clan %should be a new factor aswell for strong clans vs stronger ebs i think we need time trial event bigger idea this time with tokens for build
