So this is my first thread I have written. For hundreds of years in the United States we have always had a historical figure on our change and bills in our currency. Some of the figures featured are George Washington, Abraham Lincoln, Ben Franklin, etc. now the women in the United States are starting to think it's sexist that there is only a male figure on our currency. They have now started to come together to fight for at least one women to be on our currency. They have chosen many but some of the ones they want aren't even dead. And according to the national law, the only person who has the authority to change the face on any one of our bills is the Treasurer of the United States and that the figure has to be deceased and HAS to have played a major and significant part in our history. I wrote this to see what you guys think about this and I'm not against this just not as happy about it. -RULES- 1. Be polite 2. No sexist comments 3. Respect others opinions
Once a woman does something great as a president I'll accept the idea. Was a woman part of the founding fathers? Was a woman ever a great top 5 president? No. Therefore they shouldn't have someone on a bill.
I know you're trolling.. But women haven't been presidents due to institutionalized sexism. Not lack of ability. Women have done great things. Franklin and Hamilton weren't presidents. Jackson is not a Top 5.
I don't really care I say go ahead but with historical figures who actually did something there is plenty of female historical figures
Here's my first crack at the women that should be on the U.S. Bills.. Pocahontas Sacajawea Molly Pitcher Lucretia Mott Harriet Beecher Stowe Susan B. Anthony Eleanor Roosevelt Oprah!
Michelle Obama is not even dead. The female has to be dead and played a significant role in our history. And don't even get me started on obama
