Equipment You will no longer have the ability to equip or un-equip equipment once match ups occur. This is a necessary change as we now take equipment into account for match ups. Without blocking this, players will take off equipment before match ups in an attempt to game the system. Defender too Strong & Defender too Weak We will be placing both of these systems back into the war. The reason for this is two-fold: 1) We are matchmaking to optimize the ability for the two clans to hit each other. Most match ups have greater than 90% hit ratios, meaning that over 90% of the possible combinations of attackers and defenders can occur. 2) We now take into account how many players you influence when we do matchmaking. What does this mean? Let's say you have a clan full of weaker players, and invited a leader board player to join you in war. Before, this would either get you a no match or a mismatch. Now we take into account the player's influence in the war when we do the matchup. For example, if this leader board player actually cannot even hit anyone on the enemy roster, their influence on the war will be minimal and their stats won't affect the matchmaking process. This may also mean that on the surface, you may be matched with clans that may appear to be a lot more powerful than yours. Do not worry! If this occurs, it most likely means there are members on the opposing that cannot even hit you. We will be updating the matchup algorithm based on the test wars from last weekend so that these weekend wars are even better. 1 hr wars will be limited to 1 crystal. * *IMPORTANT* we have also restricted member participation to a range of 26 to 29 members. *Estoc Edge will be awarded as before. 1 level earned for winning, 1 level lost for losing. You will still lose a level if you leave your clan * Mithril will still be rewarded for winning. * No Rancor levels will be awarded Schedule Signup: 3-6 hours prior to War Start Time. This varies based on how close the wars are together. Matchmaking: 2 hours prior to War Start Time (Must sign up before this, rosters lock at this point) Activity Lock: Approximately 1 hour prior to the earliest War Start Time Start Time: This can vary up to 15 minutes. This will be reflected in your war timer. We are keeping the same setup as last weekend in order to gauge the matchup results on as similar dataset as possible. Hope the lands won't be to expensive and we'll be able to get more than mith from wars especially gold to winners and even losers cause people will decide to get bigger than war after buying lands and new buildings. To complete 24 more lands WE ALL NEED A BIG INCENTIVE. You will disrupt war. Well unless we get level 10 EE and make 100 mil an unload.

Said it before but will say it again . . . . HATE HATE HATE the large 5 minute window for bringing yourself out of ko (or to randomly come up). It makes the wars a spam fest. Devs, please either eliminate or reduce (to say 2 minutes) the ko window. Cheers, Kage.
One of the weekend trial wars, should be with a smaller roster. Minimum of 20 maybe, it will get more teams interested in warring.
Love the new setup as many others do. One hour wars. Random and advantage ko times work great. Looking forward to more wars and there will be plenty to war so please ignore all the whiners on here. Warring is still the funniest thing in this game!!!

Kaw admin: could you please just come out and say that this 5 min random and 5 min advantage will be the system for season 2? It seems like you are stuck with this idea as we see this format week in and week out now. What happened to asking the players? I know some like the random or advantage and I get that. But many have proposed a compromise of a smaller window. Why have these not been tried yet? Why does this week 8 war update look like a direct cut and paste from last weeks? I thought these were test wars so you can improve the system. If u are done and think this is good, then I will accept that... But don't call it test then and just start the season then. In all fairness, the match ups were great last week. So ur match up tweaking gave us probably the best wars we've had in a long time. I just hope the t6's doesn't break ur algorithm. In summary: please give us some other KO time besides 5 min random or 5 min advantage. Shouldn't we be testing a bunch and getting people's feedbacks on what works and what doesn't?
First i agree with kage, in total u done 2 wars of the usual tracking wars not the spam the .... out of the players, why u dont continue the regular ko times? Or at least like kage and other ppl said before, put a lil time like 2-3min, 5min way too much in my opinion. Great Job on the lands, dont do it cheap cause then ppl wont war. Just TEST WARS dont repeat like u done in the last 5 weeks
