  1. Week 3 Begins!

    Week 3 of the first season of, Estoc Trials - The Rancor Wars, begins!! A few important notes for this week:

    * War times are the same as last week
    * We are looking into the possibility of awarding Vanishing Paladin to the losers of Rancor Wars. We will update everyone when we have a timeline for this
    * We are still monitoring BFA tweaks and have reached out to clans that we feel are borderline in the changes that have occurred.

    Weekly Schedule

    Signup: 3-6 hours prior to War Start Time. This varies based on how close the wars are together.
    Duration: 2 hours
    Matchmaking: 2 hours prior to War Start Time (Must sign up before this, rosters lock at this point)
    Activity Lock: Approximately 1 hour prior to the earliest War Start Time
    Start Time: This can vary up to 15 minutes. This will be reflected in your war timer.

    Roster Size: Minimum 25, Maximum 40
    PDT - Monday - 7pm-7:30pm
    EDT - Monday - 10pm-10:30pm
    GMT - Tuesday - 2am-2:30am
    SGT - Tuesday - 10am-10:30am

    War #2 - War Start Time Shown
    Duration: 2 hours
    Roster Size: Minimum 25, Maximum 40
    PDT - Tuesday - 3pm-3:30pm
    EDT - Tuesday - 6pm-6:30pm
    GMT - Tuesday - 10pm-10:30pm
    SGT - Wednesday - 6am-6:30am

    Gameplay balance & Tweaks

    We are constantly looking at the feedback we get from players, and may tweak the game if certain builds are too powerful, or are paying out a disproportionate amount.

  4. Wait equip for losers so I could find 20 people who don't care join rancor wars sit inactive for 2 hours then get equip for losing? Sign me up (dev's they are called rewards please do not award the losers just because they whine a cry like babies)
     
  5. Do uk players still have to add 1 hour to GMT times?
     
  6. KaW would it be possible to consider making war 12 one hour before, instead of at SGT:5:00am, make it at SGT:4:00am.

    I feel there aren't that many Asian/Oceanic war times, and this one hour would give a huge difference to those who are. And for other time zones, it would mostly benefit too.

  7. Have a poll for awarding losers too please devs, you did it for the war brackets so it's only fair to do it for this too.

    I know it will be a no from me, as with most people. As otherwise this will end my EE wars, if it is implemented.
     
  8. Seriously we should start awarding people gold for losing EBs as well then, oh and free equip for all. Oh well your at it, i lost an EB can I have 6 trillion in gold? It's only fair

  12. A move of war times one hour ahead would be a good idea. Uk times are tiring. Other than that all good.
     
  13. Uk times suck I'm fed up of having to stop up ether late or super late to war, make gmt wars start around 8-9pm

    Still nothing in FAQ about this imbalance.

    This is the worst service for customers i have ever seen.

    If you dont get on this, im going to start down grading your ratings every week in itunes
     
  15. I absolutely support giving losers the keys to the new eb. Getting no match is horrible, and I feel like I can't get the new gear now because my two weeks of holiday are over and I had seven no matches. Anything that will encourage mitre clans

  17. @The one and worm. They didnt say equip for the losers. They only said the keys to do the vanished paladin eb. I support that though. That way the losers can get there 10-15 mith that they used for war back.
     
  18. Yeah you ignoramus, that's mith, that you use to buy equipment, put the pieces together already.

    I'm busting my ass, using two crystals, co ordinating a clan, whilst trying to war, when our opponents can just sit back and relax anyway because really, they can get an easy 12-14 by doing jack ****.

    Now I've heard some stupid ideas, but I'd this is what's needed to encourage clans to EE, then I'm done with these wars.

    However.
    Losing clans should get a rancor level extension (or plus 1 level).

    On another note, I think a good way to encourage clans to war, is to refund all potion purchases after matchup occurs, when they refund the mithril.

    You can spend anywhere between 3-10b on potions for war, which could go towards allies, builds, etc.

    If you lose, it is a true kick in the teeth to know that was all practically a waste.

  19. And if they want to give losers back the mithril that they used to war. Just do the same thing they do for the winners at the end, this is a much easier alternative, as opposed to putting in much more programming effort to enable an epic battle?

    Thats an odd thought to begin with, and i can't see it make more peeps war either.

    I understand that it is a challenge to do well balanced matchups, when there is only a few clans warring the ET, thus the 20 % sometimes more 'no matchups'.

    But rewarding losers is just not a very competitive way to go about it.

    Maybe you should look at what a winner is to gain instead ?
    At the moment peeps have to choose between growing and warring.

    Throw some billions at the winner team instead - THEN you'd get more warriors into ET.

    More strategy - make knowledge more decisive
