Equipment - Update Ideas

  1. Hello Forums,

    So today I was thinking about the equipment in KaW. New equip comes out, your old equipment becomes obsolete. So I have had some ideas concerning equipment:

    #1: Fool's Mithril

    I've seen an increase of TVP farming clans nowadays. Whether through no matches or deliberate loss, they are annoying to say the least. You warred hard for that Mithril, after all, and they're getting it handed to them. So I propose Fool's Mithril, a gold recolour of the current Mithril bar that drops from TVP.

    • What is different about Fool's Mithril?

    Fool's Mithril is strictly a TVP drop. It allows you to buy spells at the same cost as regular Mith, but needs DOUBLE the amount of normal Mithril to purchase equipment/enchant equipment. This means that clans will either war harder or actually war. After all, nobody wants to sit through 50 TVPs to get Soulreaper.

    • What about losing clans?

    Losing clans receive a small amount of normal Mith as well as Fool's Mith in a 1:3 ratio. This means they are not punished as badly.

    • How can you make sure that ONLY losing clans get this?

    By implementing a new EB specifically for losing clans. Make it slightly easier, maybe remove 10k from a bar of TVP or something.

    #2: The Mage Spell

    Also reading through forums and chat recently, I've heard a lot of hate for "the damn Mage." Well, here's a proposal that somebody has probably mentioned before (if you have, sorry ): The Mage Spell!

    Cost to Cast:

    10 Mith/25 Fool's Mith (to balance)

    Description:

    Gain the hands of magic and improve your enchanting success rate by 15% for 3 hours.

    Duration: 3 hours.

  2. Your ideas are definitely valid.

    #1.I still think removing the vp eb all together would put a stop to clans earning mith while wasting another clans time by not casting spells, xtaling , or making any attempt to participate in wars. Just return what ever mith was used up to twelve mith. If none was used none is returned.

    #2. How bout instead we have the option of upgrading the Mage to increase success rate. Perhaps as an additional castle upgrade.

    #1: Fair enough, that's a valid point.

    #2: It would have to be a whole new Mage upgrade ONLY, in case the devs implement something else with castles
