Kingdoms At War (KAW) Guide, Epic Battle (EB) Equipment, Swords and Armour Drops and Enchantment

Introduction

(If you are just interested in the equipment stats please scroll down)In Kingdoms At War, equipment can provide some very significant attack and defence bonuses for your kingdom. Equipment can be obtained:

1.As a random drop from certain Epic Battles 2.Purchased using Mithril from System Wars and Estoc Wars
OR
3.Won through organised tournaments set by the developers

Some of the equipment is static and cannot be changed but a majority of the equipment can be enhanced through enchantments. Equipment obtained from Epic Battles (EBs) that can be enchanted will use Aqua and Inferno for the enchantment.Aqua and Inferno can be obtained from random drops from Epic Battles (EBs). Inferno can be purchased for a huge gold cost. Aqua can be bought by exchanging crystals. A fixed amount of crystals can be obtained from quests but beyond that they would need to be purchased in game.The Red Paladin equipment does not require Aqua and Inferno for enchantment, instead it uses Mithril. Mithril can be bought with in game gold but is capped at 6 bars (which is not enough to enchant or purchase any of the items). The only way players can source enough Mirthril to purchase and enchant the Red Paladin equipment is by fighting and winning system wars (Standard or Estoc)

Some of the equipment provides a fixed increase to stats. Some of the equipment gives a percentage increase to your existing stats. This means as your kingdom gets larger that equipment provides more and more of a bonus

Using Equipment

This guide covers the equipment from Epic Battles (EBs) only. There are a total of 35 Epic Battle pieces of equipment. A maximum of 12 of those pieces can be used at any one time. This means you will have to choose which items you prefer. Equipment can only be used in specific slots assigned by the developersThis choice will be affected by whether you are an attack or spy build. For example the Armor of Eternal Fire gives a 5% increase to spy defence which is a great advantage for spy oriented kingdoms. In the same slot an attack oriented build may prefer the Vermeil Breastplate
In some cases one piece of equipment clearly supersedes another. A clear example of this succession is the Hooves Of Destruction which are obtained from a low level tier of Epic Battle are vastly inferior to the Golden Greaves which are won on the highest tier of Epic Battle.Some equipment won from earlier battles is used in certain phases of the successive battles in that tier. For example the Searing Sickle from the battleNew Growth is used in phase 2 of the following battle Scionic Storm

Hooves Of Destruction

This equipment is obtained from the Epic Battle, The Reckoning and No Mans Land.This equipment cannot be enchanted to enhance its attributes

Hystricidae Helmet

This equipment is obtained from the Epic Battle, Origins and No Quarter.This equipment cannot be enchanted to enhance its attributes

Leonine Armplate

This equipment is obtained from the Epic Battle, No Mans Land.This equipment cannot be enchanted to enhance its attributes

Armour Of Eternal Fire

This equipment is obtained from the Epic Battle, The Destroyer.This equipment cannot be enchanted to enhance its attributes

Nether Realm Breastplate

This equipment is obtained from the Epic Battle, No Quarter.This equipment cannot be enchanted to enhance its attributes

Ice Guardian's Shield

This equipment is obtained from the Epic Battle, City Of The Dead.This equipment cannot be enchanted to enhance its attributes
