Regardless of your political affiliation, you should always do your own proper research. Every candidate has their own home page where you can read the issues for yourself: Hillary Clinton: hillaryclinton.com Donald Trump: donaldjtrump.com I encourage everyone to go to their websites, read their actual policies, compare them against each other for yourself and see how they will affect your life and your countries economic and social well being. I further encourage you to watch the debates, and watch their campaign speeches. Hear it directly from the horses mouth as they say, instead of being told what to think by the media. We all live in an age where almost the entirety of human knowledge is at our fingertips, there is no excuse to be ignorant. Learn the facts, weigh the options, than come November make an informed decision for yourself, your family and your country.
I like how only Hillary and Trump are listed. It's like I'm reading something affiliated with Fox News, or Faux News, as I like to call it. Don't forget America, most states allow for Write In candidates. We are absolutely NOT stuck with the candidates our parties have forced the nomination onto.
I said every candidate has their own homepage and I listed the top two.. If I listed every candidate, I'd have a list 100 long. Let's not be silly.
This may side track a little (sorry) ...but how does or would a write in even have a chance since the general vote is basically meaningless? (electoral college)
Yes bc listening to their speeches and reading their write ups on their internet pages is better than just flipping a coin or listening to the news? They all say what they want to get into office, their stances change repeatedly, their views are whatever they think will give them the most votes.
They would have to have a huge underground grassroots effort, same with a 3rd party run as well. It IS very unlikely, but it is possible.
A lot better actually. Since people, as you pointed out, can say anything. But their actual policies are written down for you to read for yourself.
