There has been a lot of talk about those who spend lots of money being the ones who gain most at kaw and others can't compete. Why not develop a war system that has everyone at the same stats for ee war. Maybe once a year run a war series that ignores actual stats, bfa, bfe etc and instead gives those in war say 4m stats each. For example you pick one of 3 types pure spy (2m spy a n 2m spy def etc), pure attack or balanced (1m each) before each war and then war away vs a team with same number of players and same options. Each clan then has identical combined stats as their opponent. You get mith for winning and the tactics are what will win as size isn't a factor at all. It allows all folk to war equally. Clearly those who have worked hard/paid for for stats, bfa, bfe deserve their advantage for most of the time but for a few weeks a year - ee war becomes pure skill and tactics and allows everyone an equal chance to hit everyone else. Nothing changes outside of EE, it's just for the duration of the war that you pick your build n get a flag saying pure spy, pure attack or hybrid. Cheers Snr
So it's fun being on a one sided ee but it isn't fun having a close hard fought war with the opportunity to hit and win against lb players and have them fail against you? Having a war where tactics and skill decide the winner not stats? Seems a legitimate way of allowing all the equal chance of warring anyone and possibly winning. The war isn't equal comment - and? This idea they would be lol. I'm not suggesting this is the permanent new war system - just added in between EE wars like the chaos wars have been - something different to offer. Would everyone have the exact same build? The thing about tactics in this game is that they always seem to create extremely boring, turtle like wars, I'm sure you remember the 2012 Summer wars, I can't help put imagine seeing builds like IMF from rank 1-99. Obviously this would be remedied easily enough but it does need some thought.
Fair point re avoiding turtle wars. Maybe give everyone the identical stats as opposed to choice to avoid all bring pure spy for example lol. My thought was for all to have the same total stats and then maybe kaw creates say 3 or possibly more variations of the same total stat for a player to choose from for each war. The key is to remove the actual stat variation to give anyone a chance to war vs anyone. Be nice to show Redstar failing in your news etc lol. Cheers Snr
Interesting but would you want to play in a war where all your hard work (real money or not) isn't reflected in the war? It seems like it would make the wars kind of boring if you can't prepare for them?
I think he was going for more of a one off thing, maybe a few times a year, it would be interesting to play and I'm sure you would get a massive influx to EE while it was running. Would be nice to see really how good the top EE clans are with only strategy.
I thought it would be a chance to allow anyone to have a fair chance to war against anyone else. My idea to address the lb too strong to war against issue. I'm not suggesting it should replace EE wars nor that it should be always available - just as a special event possibly annually for a few weeks like the chaos wars. It's a fair point about would it be dull ie would everyone simply pin but given no stats, pots or mith are to be lost then it could be a fun diversion and allow smaller players a chance to fight against build complete on a level playing field for a few times a year. That should be fun with no loss n possibly mith to win plus stories to tell about ko lb players etc. Cheers Snr
