Section 2 of Build Types> Guild Hansels: There are many different varieties of Guild Hansels: Guild Hansel Spy Towers (25% spy towers), Guild Hansel TowerS (25% of both towers), Guild Hansel Hybrids, Guild Hansel Hybrid Towers, Guild Hansel Hybrid Spy Towers. The basic Guild Hansel is described below: The Fabled Guild Hansel Defined as – 4 or Less Attack Buildings, the rest guilds. i. Strengths – When has no defense pots, is very bad plunder for those attacking it. Also, it can flexibly hit larger builds than itself with its spies and is widely used to take down towers and larger hansels. ii. Weakness – Decent Attack Plunder, but most plunder comes from KO's, If has a bad connection, will have a rough time getting KO's. Type 3 Section of Builds> Extreme Tower Builds Recently, I was informed that Tower Builds, although kaw has changed the mechanics, still exist and are still very powerful builds in EE wars. The Ultra-Rare Haxor Hybrid Defined as – 75% towers (spy or normal) and any other set of buildings – This Example is a Hansel Hybrid Subset of this type. i. Strengths – Unattackable when no gold out. Depending on tower setup, Also no possibility of success against spy defense. Gains plunder through KO’s ii. Weakness – Minimal Attack Plunder. Must have BFA to hit enemies successfully B) Equipment strengths and weaknesses: Fairly simple… your total benefits from Equip C) BFA (Bonus From Allies) The bonuses you receive from allies and how they impact your CS. D) Achievements and Perm items: These have minimal effect but they do impact your strength. Step 2> Know your enemies strengths and weaknesses See step 1, but analyze your enemy the same way. – weight build type higher than the others unless BFA and Equipment are significant. Step 3> Know how to take down your enemy with your build *As I have yet to figure out how to load an Excel table to the forums, this information will remain on a personal hyperlink that Killers United shares with its clan members. Hansels are not defined as "twice a much spy as troop strength". Facepalm. Thread had potential but you have to learn the really mechanics first please
BRAVO BRAVO OP 9/10,All it needed was some easier to read color and you would earn the double general my friend,You've made a 1337 guide for sure and you deserve a
Yep. Maybe my next thread should be the story of Hansel & Gretel. Just Kidding; however, Gretel has been a commonly used term going back to the game mechanics guide.
Correction... This is not necessarily mechanics. This is stereotyping of builds so you can use your strengths to your advantage and play to your enemies weaknesses.
I have corrected my earlier statement. I got overeager to post and called it mechanics, which is a very specific term used in kaw to reference how builds interact with each other. Example being the tower mechanic which has since been changed to 75% towers in order for that mechanic to apply.
Guild hansels are one of the most widely complained about things in the forums about EE Wars. Many people anticipate a change.
Thanks versa. Here, I actually read the entire post this time; Corrections: 1- every single "definition" is incorrect. 2-hansel hybrids are not hard to KO unless they have tons of BFA. Easy attacks for attack builds, and not enough spy defense, so easy to scout as well 3- important strength of hansels (real hansels, more than 75% spy bulldings excluding towers) is that they cannot be attacked by an attack build if they have 0 gold out. 4-your so called gretel build is called an attack build 5- being the "most popular noob build" is definitely not a "Strength" of an attack build 6-your "gretel hybrid tower" build, more commonly known as an attack heavy hybrid build, is not hard to KO. Although they can hit most players, they will have low enough troop stats that a big attack build can easily attack, and a big hansel can easy assassinate, and anyone can easily scout. (Excluding huge BFA of course) 7- where is a balanced hybrid build? 8-where is an attack build with towers? My build, also the build held by a significant majority of people who war, by far the most popular build? 9- where is a tower build, such as 3m/5m/500k/2.5m? Tough to attack or spy 10- where is a hansel tower build? 154k/1.5m/4m/5.3m (or so). Hard to attack when attacking from pin, and hard to scout?
Just to be clear; I love the thread idea, will help lots of noobs who want to war, and help them decide what build to shoot for; good organization, pics, and bbc, but you need to have the correct information, you're misleading and have incomplete information
U left out 2 builds: attk with towers(best ee build) and the def tower hansel(relatively new ee build but lots of conversions to this build late in season). Even if u plundered that 2nd build u were losing extra troops unless u were a big attk alt.
I have never heard builds defined like this. Besides that, I like how it's well organized and keeps it simple. By the way, Gretel = attack build. < in case anyone was confused.
1,3 - To each their own at their own warring levels. Yes, I'm using very broad definitions; however, this is a popular method as Hansel is a loosely used term. I have not run into a "hansel" that i couldn't attack in EE wars. I have run into a pure spy that had that mechanics that you speak of. 2 - Depends on how they war it. Again, to each their own. 4 - I'm not the first one to call it Gretel and I wont be the last. If you insist on calling spy heavy builds Hansels, then its counterpart is a Gretel. For the sake of the argument, there was a post on 3/20/13 detailing the Gretel build (not by me). 5 - It is truely the most popular build taken by noobs. Anyone with any war sense will put spy towers up, but without spy towers, you get eaten alive. 6,8 - Attack towers are currently rare due to the high demand for SSD. I should have added this one, but I have rarely ran into it. I searched but could not find people to screenshot as examples. 7 - Pure Hybrids. Also a very rare build. 9 - Tower builds. Yes they are tough, but most people just ignore them and use them as sko targets as they generate very little plunder. Again hard to find a good screenshot example. 10 - I covered the more popular hansel spy tower. For the ones which I didn't cover, if you could provide a ideal username to use as example, i would appreciate it.
