A Guide to Hansel To Start The trick to Hansel is patience. Especially in the beginning. At first, it may seem like you are growing slowly, but truthfully, you are growing much fast than you would be otherwise. The first thing you should do (if starting out, brand new) is try to get a really, really good volley. Make sure you have at LEAST 75 million gold. Once you have that gold, upgrade the guild you got in the beginning to level 2, and buy an ally with the rest. If you already have a build, start out like this (this goes by number of lands): *Note* Do not convert anything unless you can upgrade it to max right away 25+ lands: Turn any attack builds (except for either 1 or 2) into level 4 guilds. If you leave 2 attack builds, make sure they are level 3 Aviary's. If you only have 1 attack build, make sure it's a level 3 Circle of Elements. 20-24: Turn all your attack builds, (except for 2 level 3 Aviary's) into level 4 guilds. 16-19: Make sure you have 3 level 3 either Beasiary's or War Cathedral's. Then make every other building a Guild level 3. Once you have gotten the 900 mil land, (20th land) start upgrading them all to level 4. Make sure, after every land you get, you put a level 3 guild on it, before moving to the next land. 9-15: Start by getting either 3 level 3 Beastiary's, or 3 level 3 War Cathedrals. Get all level 2 Guilds on the rest. Once you get the 60 mil land (the 15th) start upgrading them to level 3. Just starting-8 Do as I said in the very beginning. Best Ways to Grow I suggest, and all my accounts are hansel, and this works REALLY WELL, Ambush. Truly, Ambush will get you the most gold, as well as you can hit it with any attack building. When I made my latest account (the first one that did Ambush all the way through), I was making over 1 mil a hit at max plunder when I was only on the 9th land. (By the way, that account is now land complete, and this one was reset before that one was created, and I still am not LC on this account. Not much work done on it, truthfully). Once you have started your hansel, make sure you ALWAYS stay at max plunder. By the time you have reached Land Complete, you should have at least 1 ally over 10 billion in worth. (I also suggest this ally be active, just because then you also have a stat booster when you need it). Without allies, hansel's make next to nothing, gold-wise. How to Use Your Hansel Effectively The cool thing about hansels is, you can farm, and no one will ever know!! Make sure you hit the battle list at least 2 times a day. Steal the crap out of someone! Assassinate them!!! Get your achievements! Another thing about hansels: You can reach Land Complete faster than any other style of build, therefore making it much easier for you to complete quests! How, you ask? Mithril spells! If you buy 2 mithril, cast the 1 mith attack and spy spells, and start hitting quests, you will notice you succeed much more often than you fail, even though the quests are extremely difficult. The Castle The castle is an interesting building. There are a few ways you can go with this. The first is upgrade it. It gives you 40,000 attack and 40,000 defense, as well as 30,000 spy attack and spy defense. On the downside, if you plan on doing mithril wars as an OSF, it will be harder for the smaller kingdoms to hit you. The second option fixes that. Since they made it possible to use mithril without upgrading your castle, you truly do not need to anymore. I suggest only using this if you plan on doing mithril wars as an OSF in the future. If you don't plan on it, upgrade that castle. One really good thing about upgrading your castle is if you cast the 1 mithril attack spell, you can hit Haunting all the way through with a level 1 Barracks, making about 70-80 mil more than Ambush. And clans absolutely LOVE hansels. One really good thing about not upgrading your castle..... Other than the OSF thing, there isn't really a plus side. The downside is you don't have those stat boosters. Which can end up being problematic in the future. To War!!!! One thing about hansel is that warring is made really, really easy. Although you may want to make a few changes to your build. First one is: Make sure you have a defensive tower, max level. This will make it easier for you to go DTW, and not get hit. And then spy to your hearts content. The easiest way to become DTW, and safest, is to quest your troops to death. Another thing: If you don't like to waste your troops on quests like that, build a couple t4's at level 3. Make sure you have pot's. Because you still won't be able to hit many people with just 2 t4's. Other Ways One way that I built one of my hansels was Awakening. Spam Awakening. Repeatedly. Over and over. Do it solo. At Land Complete, you can solo it in less than 2 hours (my current record with my biggest hansel is 15 minutes. Only 1 health crystal used, but all 4 stat spells.) This guarantees you at least 800 mil. And it's much faster than Ambush. Although, in the long run, Ambush will be better. I also did a Tower Hansel. That one was really fun to war with. You build 5 t2 Defense towers, all the way to level 3 (Make sure you are Land Complete before you make this). Build 3 t2 Spy Defense towers. Make sure you have at least 2500 of every defense and attack pot (both spy and troop). Build 5 t4 attack buildings. The rest are guilds or SoS's. If you have 12 of the Highlands, you should be well over 3 mil comb stats. If you have any other questions about hansel, or you don't understand a part of this guide, wall me. I will get back to you as soon as possible. I realize there are a lot of guides for hansel, but I feel like I should spread my opinions for hansel. Let the haters rejoice
Re: Ashaya's guide to Hansel I think it's easier to get 9 lands with all forges then save for lvl3 guilds then go from there.
That is how a lot of people do it, but I prefer to do it this way. Also, I thought I was on another account, writing this. Disregard the "not LC yet" part. This account is. The one I thought I was writing with isn't.
Lol??? Awakening? 800m in 2 hours??? That a joke. That's not a good way to make money, on haunts I make 2b per hour
For a first attempt, this guide is ok. Again, forums demands detail. Many people aren't what you'd call too intelligent.
lol it's an okay attempt. Drian, I know your alts. lol. Most of them are hansel, true. But you have 1 who isnt. and that one has grown faster than most of your hansels. how do you explain that? although, now that I think about it, that one used to be hansel. Awakening? maybe for the smaller hansels. But I do agree with Ambush. My suggestion is add a little more detail, as in: Why do you do Awakening? I can see that Awakening is okay for smaller accounts, but not for when you reach our size. Btw, I noticed most of your accounts left GB. Did they go to random clans? are they ever coming back? WE NEED INFO!!!!!!! Anyways, good to see ya. Don't see you around much anymore. At least not chatting. Although you and a lot of your accounts are always in the top 10 on Ambush over here at GB. I suggest you update this a little bit. Give info as to how much it will cost to reach LC, with all the buildings you suggest, vs other builds. It may make it more appealing. Just a few ideas As for pots and haunting, I agree with Drian. It is easier to do Ambush at first, because many people don't allow smaller players to do Haunting with them. And pots get expensive for haunting. Cheaper to do it with spell. Much easier. Although people will dispute that. But here is my reasoning behind it: Spells are a 1 time thing, that last for 6 hours. At our size, it costs less than 600 mil. Where as to buy enough pots to hit as many times as you can in 6 hours, it ends up being much more expensive. Then there is always wars, which give the mith for the spells for free. Therefore saving a LOT on spells and mith. Either way, I agree with the majority of this guide. NOT just because I am in same clan, but because I grew essentially the same way, and Drian taught me much of my knowledge of hansel.
@Kuz Lack of information and detail doesn't mean the readers are stupid. Don't be ignorant, Val's guide to hansel is still the best and this guide is trash compared to it.
You are biased and you know it. lmao anyways, working on an update for it. Hopefully make it more "appealing"
