Doom Assassin - Book 1 The flame eternal Chapter 1 Book 1-The flame eternal Sam was not just a normal 15 year old. He had powers that were beyond ordinary. He worked for an assassin company, known as the Flame. They charged 1000 rupees to Assassinate anybody. Because of Sam, this buisness was very popular. Sam had just finished a job to Assassinate the evil warlord Zaetakeria, and succeeded easily. He lied in bed, staring up at the ceiling, when suddenly, he heard a rustling in the bushes by his house. He wandered outside to investigate, and right as he peeked into a bush, a cold hand grabbed him from behind and he was clubbed on the head. Chapter 2 When Sam woke up, he was lying on a cold, rock, floor. A chain was on his leg, but he blasted it and it fell with a clatter to the ground. He saw he was inside a cage. He tried to blast his way out, but the bars seemed to be made of a indestrictible substance. Sam took a closer look at the ceiling, and saw a vent about 20 feet above him. He jumped up, and blasted the vent to pieces. He floated inside. He expected to see a tunnel, but what he saw was far more than what he thought. It was a highly decorated room, with tall, elegant shelves, and books stowed upon them. He took a step, and quickly regretted it. Chapter 3 When Sam took the step, the panel he stepped on pushed down. A massive boulder started rolling toward him. He barely got out of the vent and was back on the floor. He took a closer look at the cage. He saw a small hole. He blasted the dirt under the hole, and could barely squeeze through. He saw a huge, winding corridor. He started the long walk down it.
