First of all, let me start off by apologizing to the community for not showing any links to my other accounts, as my clan to do allow forum posts for osw reasons mainly. However, i will say my main clan is in both top 10 under clan strength and clan prestige. Secondly, devs you need to listen to the community. I am not here to rant, complain, cause drama or hate. I am writing this forum to try to compile all of the thoughts that need to be implemented in EE wars. I will try to enumerate most of the ideas that i see relevant and reasonably doable for the betterment of the game as a whole. Lasty and MOST importantly, please do not rush this season 2, as I am sure most of the community feels this way, the algorithm and several things along the way need still tons of tweaking. I might be speaking for myself here, but i'd much rather go through a few more weeks, even several weeks of testing until we feel the game becomes more fair to all. Now down to the point; here's the reasoning behind the extension of time for season 2: (I'll start of with the idea brought upon by Silph, just a couple of days ago which got much support) 1) Spy actions should be stealth, even on KO's. When KOing someone it shouldn't appear on enemy's CC, but it will appear on attackers clan chat. However, as powerful as spies are, this can't go over compensated. Since most of the KO's are done through scouts, this should not apply to scouts. Only to steals and assassinations. Furthermore, even when KO'd it will appear who KOd you ONLY on your notifications. This should encourage further team play and more communication within each clan. -->Now, as this idea was just brought upon and it got incredible support from the community, i believe this is an idea that needs to be at least tested, before making EE algorithm set in stone. 2) Your dtw/dts margin needs to be narrowed even more. I believe one of the main reasons for this was to get a balance with GH builds. however, it doesn't work successfully in my opinion. 3) Guild hansel builds are overpowered. As this is a very controversial issue, i believe it needs to be fixed. In all reality, it is the easier build on the game and one of the most powerful in EE. This is not fair for many players. Specially when you are fighting against them, it does not seem fair that they can plunder off 30-55mil off of you, and you make from 6-20mil a hit from them. There is no logic behind that in system wars. -->my solution: create a balance in plunder for both players, GH against other more advanced build. My suggestion work around 30mil plunder off a hit. Approximately to a max of 40mil and min of 20mil depending on how advanced both builds are. Furthermore, what ever amount within that margin the GH plunders off of you is the amount you can plunder off from them. ONLY for system EE wars. I believe this is the most suitable solution creating a fair environment still involving all types of builds. In addition, this will help eliminate certain clans exploiting your current system, including but not limited to clans such as RH. i'm not trying to diss them, and as great warriors as they are, i believe it should be fair for both sides. ----> last point on this subject, this might take a lot of scripting. But i believe this is definitely the solution to bring a balance to GH. 4) WE WANT TO KNOW OUR CLAN STRENGTH EVERY MATCH. For some reason you took that away. I really don't see the reasoning for hiding that other than to skew data for your hit ratios. 5) Hit ratios have brought SO much frustration to this community, you have gotten an incredible amount of complaints against this algorithm, but you continue to ignore it, and tweak random time KOs and advantage, etc. Those are only factors to mathematically make it seem as if it was a close war, when in reality in doesn't necessarily have to be, and most of the time it isn't. Even though Final plunder score would show otherwise. This new algorithm this is definitely a step back. It is even a blatant slap in the face to the whole community as you have repeatedly and consistently ignored all the complaints against this method Season 1 algorithm needed tweaking. Agreed, it had many flaws, but in all honesty, i was much more content with those wars than these new ones. There seems to be many more blow off wars now than before. Even though many times numbers won't show that percentage as if they were --->Solution: Go back to season 1 algorithm. tweak it accordingly. Add the BFA/BFE/CS, and show clan strength players and of course all the points mentioned before, and ones that will be mentioned. 6) KO times: This is an issue that needs to be fixed. The whole community has told you that they hate spawning a target for 5 min to to get a single hit in. (In my opinion i prefer set KO times.) :roll: As we all warriors know we will all be in both sides of this position. As it could be a great for many beginner clans, this is just a way to help skew the data for blow off matches. -->Solution: If devs and community wish to keep variable KO times, 5 minutes is definitely a waste of time. Make it a solid 2 minutes of either advantage or random KO. At MOST 3minutes. Although, i honestly believe 3 minutes is still a very long time. Much time lost spawning someone. 7)There are very limited amount of clans warring, and there has been an outstanding and numerous amounts of threads made to give ideas for war crystals. To this date, i still don't see why this wouldn't be a good idea. 8) No Match Found: I don't know if it is that you fail to understand or keep ignoring, but i am sure 100% of the community will agree they will MUCH rather have a no match than a mismatch. It's not fun for either side, among many other reasons. ---> Solution: Make the No Match margin much narrower. I understand this might be incredible amounts of work and writing. Ultimately though, this is what the community has been asking for months. I don't mind doing test wars on the meantime, but EE can not keep going the way it is. It is a complete utter mistake to rush to season 2 (as much as i want it there already) with the current matchmaking methods. I am eager to see community respond, and give their opinions, feedback or hopefully enough support to get the devs understand a change needs to be made, and season 2 cannot be rushed. thank you all for your time. P.S. some of these have been ideas i have read on forums and other players, but please don't feel offended if i didn't quote or gave credit. If i didn't is because i honestly wouldn't even remember who said it. this is just a compilation ideas with a few tweaks of my own. for the bettering and more fairness of EE war as a whole.

What about clans that are undoubtably strong receiving no matches? I can't understand why that doesn't happen? Still lots of work to be done on your algorithm Devs. I've been saying on every thread. Face it! You're not ready for Season 2

It sucks for hansels to get a ko with spie because it leaves all of their troops open for plundering. That's why we spy so we don't get caught with full troops consistently on xstal runs. Get both sides of the story instead of assuming your reasoning is absolute

However please keep in mind as well, main purpose of this thread is to keep test wars going longer as i feel the devs are definitely not ready to push season 2, when the whole algorithm is failing. I brought up what i believe the main ideas with proposed solutions. These are not definitive. So community, please keep your opinions limited to the main threads purpose, not just one idea

However, the devs are unlikely to listen. This will lead to an even greater glut of GH having more BFE than god, and one more nail in the KaW coffin.

In terms of business interests, crystal sales support and justify the huge amount of work put into designing and running ee. Why would a seafood company runs fishing competitions and gives fishes for free? Well obviously u hav to buy the baits to join the competitions or some catch. However I'm not really in favor of us spending crystals helping dev to twitch their matches even b4 they are ready. If dev is willing to give out war crystals, doing it during the test and preseason will be appreciated. But not during the actual season

At least you are able to participate in a "war" that allows you the chance of being able to get mith and items. For those of us,( and there are many), the devs have literally made it completely unfair and impossible to gain access to the bonuses EE offers. At least you get to do it, so stop crying. They give you a chance to get free mith and equipment for doing what, 1 or 2 hours of hitting, and then 24 hours of ass grabbig an high fiving the "hard earned victory"? Osw warriors are truly the ones that should be rewarded for their wars, seeing as they are real fighting the way KaW was made to war originally. Stop your whining and be happy with what you get. - signed, A bitter KaW player who wishes he had the time to EE. (but speaks accurately).
