In the past event, The Bone Hunt, Devs released an item that allows users to get 1 free build upgrade (building tokens). During this event, there were numerous threads asking to allow HFBC players get some sort of compensation, and this didn't happen. During this event, some users were against it and wanted to opt out of it, and this happened almost immediately. Devs, instead of listening and implementing the communities many wants, only implemented the ones that benefitted them. I'm not against this, as an understanding individual, I know you have a business to run, but please do something once in a while that isn't intended to fill your pockets. /rant
It comes as no surprise that a company which was created for the purpose of making profit holds on to those ideals after an extended amount of time.

Devs didn't give compensation to HFBC people with tokens because they didn't want to push the inflation problem. Agree or disagree, that was the rationale. As for choosing profit, that's what businesses do. Businesses that make unprofitable decisions don't last real long.
I know this. I've pointed it out to others before. I would just like an update every once in a while that isn't all about money and hunting.

So the devs want to make money. Deal with it. Personally, I enjoy this promo, but it was a bit ill-conceived. Just because 2 or 3 Noobs moan and cry in the forums about pvp promos doesn't mean the majority of players like it. The devs are probably losing money on this venture. They did what they had to do.
You are absolutely correct BUT ...ATA didn't start out with the "profitability" business outlook that they have now. Does anyone remember how devs/touted "community" and the importance thereof for the 1st two years?? And how KAWing and being part of that community was in itself some sort of "honorable" worthy pursuit? lol ...what it comes down to is MONEY talks (everyone sells out eventually)
I'm not bagging on the damn promo! I bagging on the fact that it's been forever since there's been an update to the game that isn't a hunt or promo. Didn't know I was giving the wrong impression. Damn.
I very much enjoy the event (not opted out btw), and I would like to see more like this. But when there's an update, all players should benefit.

ok if uve only been playing for a year dont post cuz ur still a noob. This game use to be about war before the epic battles and stupid promos. The reason y the other ata games got shut down is cuz devs are too focused on making promos for KAW and KAW being there first game made them neglect the others so they could advance KAW. But yes the devs are greedy and it is ignorant to put out a promo to make money on the week of Thanksgiving. Hell im pissed cuz i didnt get my free xtal that ive gotten every past thanksgiving but be reasonable this is just a game u play it to have fun so if u take things to seriously then u probably are playing the wrong game.
