Delta Force Or Secret Air Service: Which is better?

  1. American Delta Force

    OR

    British Special Air Service

    Or

British Fanboys will say S.A.S because they are the OG's, The Delta Force was created by a male who modeled it after S.A.S, so them British Fanboys say, "You can't beat the originals.." however is this really the case? Are SAS really the best or is Delta Force the Top Dog?!

    Delta Force Training

Delta Force is so hard to get into, the training is ultra hard that, only a few ever make in. For example, lets say 2000 regular Infantry soldiers try out, out of those 2000 soldiers only around 40-50 will make it to ranger school, and from those 40-50 only 10-15 will graduate from Ranger School, and from those 10-15 only 1-2 will become a Delta Force Operator, that is 1-2 out of 2000.

    Special Air Service Training

Many try to get into the Special Air Service regiment. Most of them fail. Out of an average intake of 130-150 candidates, the selection process will weed out all but 10-18. Phase 1 of training is endurance, said selection not only tests a candidate's physical fitness, but also their mental stamina. To pass this phase, a high level of determination and self-reliance is vital. No encouragement or support is provided during this endurance phase. So you're pretty much on your own, boy. Not just that but part of their training includes a 40 mile trek carrying a 50 pound load, this must also be done under 24 hours or you fail, do you even lift bros?

This is just the gists of it, but which do you think is better and why?

  2. Sbs, and sas gurka intake

  3. One will make you fat

The other will take your tea

  4. The attrition rate for ranger school isnt that bad. About a third of everyone who tries out graduates.

  5. Know your history british sa sarted in 1947 and delta force was offical in 1977 it was not about who was modeled after who each place started there units as needs arise and we are allied with them so we have always exchanged ideas and have cross-trained.I have been on both sides of that fence training and cross-training learning more than 1 way to fight make you and them better at what we all do and that is to Protect our Countries in time of war happy kawing

  6. It's like trying to figure out who's better between James Bond Vs Jason Bourne.

Bond is a total machine...he had scorpions sting him and everything.

Jason just got headaches. Although he was good at punching that guy with a rolled up paper.

But Bond broke that guys neck on a sink.

    Ah man. It's hard.....

    Nope. Still gonna say Bond

  7. Guilty I'd be sure about my history before slating others SAS was formed during WW2 it grew from groups like LRDP.

Indeed I believe it's early ops were hardly successes but it learnt lessons and became an effective force.

It's probably most famous for the Iranian hostages in London, various activities during the troubles in Northern Ireland and the long range desert raids during desert storm.
I can't imagine either group conceding superiority to the other but both work closely together doing things we won't ever hear about.

  8. I never said who was better or what deeds were done and not done. all i know is the history that was in the manual i had to read while in classes b4 doing op's on foriegn land.Maybe the manual was made and not updated or maybe the sas offical date was the same date as when they started missions together i have no idea how they are put together but i do know thats what in the manual i looked at it b4 i posted the thread

  9. SEALs you silly Children.

That or the Spartan Program. Or Rainbow 6.

  10. Because they are equal.

  11. So endurance training is now lifting? Better get on the bike that 

  12. My Ex suffering from pmt would chew up and spit both of them out for breakfast:)

  13. #sealteam6

    NUFF SAID!

  14. You kidding me?

Chris Kyle wasn't even a member of Team 6.

  15. Tbh here I'm a Brit and a Brit sniper got 173 comfermied kills were as this Chris dude only got 160 something so yea bitches S.A.S is miles better also Chris bragged bout his kills but us Brits don't ya ******* muricans and look wat tht got him shot in da ******* head BOOM!!

  16. A. Yer grammer is horribil.
    B. Chris officially got 160. Not counting maybe's.
    C. If this British crumpet gobbler didn't brag about his kills, then how did the public know?
    D. And SAS is good and all, (I have several urban survival and survival books by John 'Lofty' Wiseman, a respected SAS member.) but they haven't won half as many wars, or a quarter as many battles, as The Rangers, the Seals, etc.

  17. Not kidding at all. Op's original post does not mention Kyle, poses the question Delta Force or SAS. My reply was Seal Team 6.
Who was called on to take out Bin Laden? Delta force? No, it was Seal Team 6 that put a bullet through his left eye before he could even blink.

  18. Seal training is a whole lot tougher than delta force training

If I remember correctly delta force runs what is called the gauntlet and it is composed of different training that last about a week and you have one source of protein which was a rabbit.

I don't know anything about British special ops but what I can tell you is RAMBO was delta force and he took on everyone by his self

  19. British SAS win this one hands down... and not just because America is full of idiots.

Also Seals would kick the crap out of Delta Force.

But any man with a good club could kill a Seal.
