I've recently done some tests with my build and this is ally plunder I received. (note: respective changes were only done to one land. The rest were constant. All buildings stated were at lvl3) 1. Blank land - ally plunder: 4,270,459 2. Forge - ally plunder: 4,391,568 3. War Cathedral: 4,404,447 4. Lightning tower: 3,997,352 As you can see, among the 4, the lvl3 war cathedral offers the highest ally plunder and the lightning tower suprisingly has the lowest. Please give me your opinions. Is the stat increase worth the drop in plunder? Or are towers strictly for OAFs?
I heard a wise man once say "go on, pin them with your tower" .......so true U see Noob low stat farmers with farmers .
How is it suprising that towers have tge lowest plunder? And why did you do tests? You could find this info in pry 30-40% of the threads in the strategy section...
@Prome I did the tests by hitting the same osf with the different buildings. The rest of my buildings remained constant. Ally plunder is constant so there was no need for me to wait for full troops. Did I answer your question? I thought that was the only way...
Btw to add on. notice I did the test with a blank land? This means that towers have negative ally plunder. Which is the suprising bit.
There was nothing to test. Towers do not add plunder, therefore a bad choice for anyone still building their kingdom
Darn The main point I'm trying to prove here is that towers not only do not give ally plunder but LOWERS ally plunder. That was what I was testing.
Towers are helpful if you are a spy build and want to have money out and not be hit. Any other time they suck. Don't build them.
i wasnt asking how you tested buy why. And adding the tower dropped your plunder relative to the blank land because it increased the your stat to osf stat ratio. make sense? To the others- towers are also very useful in brutal wars
@Prome What you said about how the towers actually lower ally plunder might be true. But I doubt there is a situation where ally plunder will stay the same when you build a tower so we can most probably conclude that ally plunder will always decrease as a result.
The tower likely affected the "under-dog" bonus You see the bigger the diff in stats the more you make so bigger osfs pay more than smaller ones It didn't give minus plunder it gave a bigger stat boost so the stat diff was smaller so less of a payout...... .........I think
