  1. Book 2 in the Chronicles of Darkness
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    We scoured through the forest, me (Secret) leading the way. Of course Revnok's P.P. was on. (Personal Power) We were closing in on the Rush, and I could tell by my honed senses. We all heard the rushing water, and saw a small fire before the Rush blocked our way. The message buzzed to everyone from my head, "Looks like Trolls. An encampment, trade route, attack pattern, you name it. We assualt silently. No head-on charging." They nodded in agreememt, then I hopped the Rush. Everyone followed, then we faded ibto the shadows. Sapphire struck a troll's throat with her knife, and it went down. "Don't full-on assault unless they notice." said my message. We continued downing trolls until one of them saw the other fall. It roared in Troll, and they attacked. We stood our ground, swords, scepters, and spells all in one Death Meal Combo. The last of the trolls died, and we destroyed their encampment.
  2. I found a slab of parchment, with a map folded up. The parchment read in High Elf, "You shall assualt Crevlok's trade routes until gone. Then Crevlok itself." Then there was something in Troll, which I roughly deciphered, "We expect failing from you. You are not the main force." The map was one showing Crevlok's trade routes. We moved on, more hurriedly then before, knowing now that Crevlok could be attacked any time.
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    We moved to the last camp, all of us battered, dirty, and exausted. We defated them, then ran back through the Forest, rushing toward Crevlok, where screams and shouts pierced the night.
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    "Launch the cannons." said the Troll. Irony made this, but his name was Gen. Knoll.
  3. I submit that your writing be submitted to US congress to be included in the definition of outlawed torture
  4. Not sure about the story but the title is terrible
  5. The cannonball sailed through the air, and hit Crevlok.
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    I woke with a start. I realized it was morning, and the sun was up. I woke my friends, and we had a light breakfast. My bright blue eyes searched the Forest, scanning for anything unusual. We all packed our things, then went out running. Just a little info, we Elves are very fast runners. But you'd have to find us to race. I saw signs of battle up ahead. I saw pure terror and turmoil in Crevlok. I ran faster, going beyond my physical limit. I lost everybody behind me, fueled by my intense anger. "This is my hometown, and N.O.B.O.D.Y is going to destroy it." my subconcious voice said. Everything faded to a blur, and I remember rushing out, seeing Trolls, and engaging combat. My sword whirled, messy brown hair flying, magic swirling, and after things came back to normal, I realized I was standing on a 5 foot pile of Trolls. Their camp was burning, but lots, lots more were attacking Crevlok. Gen. Grumpshot was calling out orders, while Lieutenant Aedvir was in the midst of battle, downing Troll after Troll, but for every one he killed, 2 more seemed to take its place. I ran into battle, sword whistling through the air as I flanked another group protecting the gates to Crevlok. The Trolls were endless, but my friends had just caught up. The Band and Sapphire were slicing and cutting, just like practice. The Trolls retreated, but everyone knew it wasn't over. We. Had. Been. Sieged.

  6. I went back to our main camp, where the wounded were being tended to by the Healers of the city. I got to my tent and lit a small fire. I roasted some fish I had caught, then heated up some tea. After that, I put them next to my small bed, and fell asleep.
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    I woke up, and nearly knocked over my tea. But my friends caught me, including Sapphire, and laid me down again. "Wha-" I managed to begin before Sapphire pressed a finger to my lips. "An assasin, from Xelox, (Another Elvish city) snuck in here and nearly killed you. You won't be seeing battle for at least a week." "No, I'm fighting." I got up, and nearly fell over. I grimaced, then put on my armor. I bent over, and Sapphire leaned down and kissed me. I looked at her, and every feature on her face looked like it was struck by worry. I flexed my wrist, and nearly yelled out in pain. My vision blurred red for a second, then returned. I walked out of the tent, flanked by my friends. I walked up to Colonel Largenet. I said, "We're ready with your squad to raid the Trolls." I left him, and squadded up with them. We all walked, being very silent, hiding behind trees, and ducking under bushes. We finally reached their first siege outpost. The squad struck, and we burned the first tent, and the fire spread. Trolls leaped out and charged us. Me and Sapphire, the Old-School, Kick A** Team, were fighting back to back, with the squad destroying their siege catapaults.
  7. I ran for their food supply, which was full of meat and fruit, and got as much as I could carry. The Trolls attacked, and the raiders ran off. We ran, until I hit a rock and tripped. The food spilled, and nobody saw me. I was hit in the back of the head, then everything went black.
    **************
    I woke up, feeling groggy. My first unwelcome sight was slightly rusted bars, with moss growing out. The walls were cracked, and there was a barred window above me. I took in my sights, and realized the Trolls must've got me. I instinctively grabbed foot and handholds and climbed up to the window. My sight was greeted with dozens of Trolls, making sure nothing raided. I tried breaking the bars, but cut my hand just as I was about to finish. I lashed out with my foot, and it broke, so I rolled out. I got out, and the fresh salty breeze ruffled my hair. Though I couldn't relax. I still had to get outta here. I snuck past the first Troll guard, and snuck into the Forest, being greeted by a tripwire. I fell, then an alarm sounded. I got up and ran, my only thought was run run run. I was running toward Crevlok, and they saw me. Saw me get hit by an arrow. And falling.
  8. Army's POV
    We all rushed out, seeing Secret getting shot by an arrow. We ran, attacking the Trolls. We grabbed Secret's body, and ran back to camp, hoping he was going to live...
    The Band's POV
    We all stood around, grieving. It had been confirmed. Secret had died. Sapphire was crying most of all, nearly having a swimming pool full of tears to swim in. The Healers still tended to him. We were all ready for battle, a fuel to avenge Secret. And we got our chance. The Trolls attacked, and we launched our assualt, us members of The Band killing Troll after Troll. Waves of our army and the Trolls' army swarmed. We attacked ferociously, like a pack of rabid wolves. We slaughtered the Trolls. They ran off, regrouping with the main force, and heading back to the camp...
    ***************
  9. A light. Bright light. Tunnel, falling. Falling. Falling.
    My eyes flew open, and the Healer gasped. The Healer ran out, yelling. I fell asleep. I woke up with everyone leaning over me. Sapphire leaned down and kissed me. I got up, and got on my armor. I walked out to the army saluting. I walked, and they parted around me. I walked out, seeing the Trolls, and brandished Garhim.
    I banged my sword against my shield and yelled, "Cowards! Do you fear me? I have survived death! And you don't have enough bravery to challenge us?" And I charged. Alone. All alone. The army was staring at me agape, and the Band were in shock. I yelled, a war cry that struck fear into the Trolls.
    I whirled my sword, having reflexes even quicker than a normal Elf. I cast spells, destroying Trolls. They ran back to the main camp, and regrouped. I walked back to our camp, strolling casually.
  10. Everyone was staring at me, but I walked into the city, flanked by The Band. We casted protective spells among the city to keep the area safe when the Trolls attacked. And I was right. The next morning, Trolls had launched the cannon balls. [Pause] Now, a thing about magic is when hit, but not broken, it shows the spell, and it shows a crack, like glass. [Unpause] The cannon balls had left many dents, but my force field was holding up. I reinforced it, layer after layer, until I was physiclly and mentally exausted.
    The Trolls were attacking when I woke up, and I knew that this was it. The last battle. Whether we beat them or not, this would end today. I walked out, and ran into battle. My sword whirled, and everything went blurry... After a while, my vision came back to normal. Lieutenant Aedvir told me it had been five hours. And the Trolls were defeated. That night, Crevlok launched fireworks, celebrating the defeat of the Trolls and the bravery of the Crevlok Army.
