  1. Hello there,

    I have a few comments/questions/suggestions for the daily crystal limit on Kingdoms at War.

    1) how exactly is the daily limit determined? One day to the next the time start for the day seems to be different

    2) it would be a great help if a daily timer or counter was added in the oracle. As with the above question this would help with the confusion and ultimately frustration associated with "xtal jail". Many players will start a HTE, only to discover they are in jail and reached the daily limit.

    3) add a proper timer for when a person may crystal again. I have had times when the current notification suggests I may use a crystal in 5 hours, 3 hours later it will still say 5 hours. Or times it may allude that I can use a crystal in an hour, so I opt in for war, and find out I can not use that crystal as it was actually 1hr 58mins. This creates frustration among many players.

    4) why have a limit at all? I understand the 6 crystal limit for an epic battle, but if I choose to use 64 crystals in a day, and ultimately spend $30 a day, why stop me from doing this?
     
  2. Good question. Why the Devs stopping u from spending money? Lol Maybe they make so much that they want it to come in slowly so they don't spend it all at once.
     
  3. The xtal timer starts as soon as you use your first xtal in a 24 hour period. Using your xtals strategically and using it at a certain time of day is how people set up trains and use 47 xtals.


    I do agree that there should be a timer set up, say next to the xtal button itself. Why devs haven't put it in I cannot say.


    The cap is set so that people cannot just become bc in a few days. This is to make sure the balance is somewhat kept. Yes, if the cap was removed people might spend more, but then growth would happen too fast and the gap between players who dont spend and those who do spend would be widened too far. It would also put the ally market into an issue. Without a cap people could be bc fast. Once you are bc all you can spend your gold on is allies. Most allies would be owned by bc accounts and leaving the rest of the players in the dust. This also brings about monotony, devs have to come out with new lands and buidlings to keep up with growth, constant adding would also widen the gap between players.
     
  4. It always bothered me that there was a regen cap on this game but not on pimd. You can solo their version of HTE all by yourself but not here. It grinds my gears.
     
  5. Yes a two way timer is mostly what I think would be helpful, one for the day start, and one for when u may be released from jail when in...as the current timer is nowhere near accurate.

    Also devs need to fix their day start timer....as my wife's account used her daily allotment of 24 crystals over a 10 hour period....and was placed in jail for 23 hours....thus screwing her out of war, pvp, and other ebs for maximum allotment of items for event.

    This is what has spurred this suggestion, on top of countless times I have seen the issues pop up over my time here at KaW
     
  6. The 24 xtal max doesn't affect war. You can still use an xtal during EE wars. Pvp and ebs are still held to the xfal cap though.
     
  7. Yeah I didn't like it either, and I had thought pimd had a better system. But right now Pimd is having MAJOR player gap issues. People bc so quickly and the "ally" market in Pimd is really fractured. Kaw's cap on daily xtals is annoying, but it's actually serving a purpose.
