Converting to Towers?

Your plunder will drop significantly
You will become a harder target
Only if you do alot of warring

 

Instead of converting 25 SOS to towers convert 10 Vol to towers so the plunder loss is much less significant and the stats will be similar.

 

Only do this if your gonna war week in, week out, I went from 41mil to 25mil a hit on haunts, but well worth it, 

 

OP- IMO, itd be best to wait for LL T5 to come out

Not worth it, in my opinion. IMO, I would prefer to hit hard and be hit hard, rather than hit soft and be hit soft.  If you hit hard enough, they won't be able to hit back.

 

When I say well worth it, I mean I would rather be in a war clan than hittin b2b haunts 24/7, and most war clans now want towers, so op if you want more from KAW (wars), you will hav to change your build to suit, 

@ OP: I've tested both T5 spy def towers and T4, the plunder loss/stat loss is almost the same, except of course the amount of buildings you need, and the price.

10 T5 level 3 will cost somewhere over 1tril. 20 T4 towers (same stats just more towers) will cost anywhere between 260bil and 300bil.

I make about 26-27m per hit with my build which is 19 Vols level 2, 4 Vols level 1, 6 SOS level 3, 3 CoEs level 3, 15 temples of clarity, and of course a level 3 castle.

I'm not T5 complete so as you should see my plunder still has space to rise.

 

@ OP- I have played kaw for a LONG time, been in some of the biggest OSW's and have contributed to building up, and training some of the biggest war clans of our day ( this paragraph is my logos, not trying to brag)

With that being said i Know quite a bit about builds and quite a bit about war as i build up accounts and tear them down all the time. Spy towers are extremely effective for attack builds, I think that all builds should have at least 1M spy def. Hansels should have a Few towers up b/c it makes the attacker more likely to Fail and makes them use more spies. However, I get stupid ass EB noobs telling me to drop 10 Lowlands and put up 10 SPD towers, now this would be necessary if i was an EB noob, But i am not, i can pull my weight and handle my build without being a ***** and throwing up 10 towers. (sidenote: if you are under 4M vs hansel u are an exception, you need 2M spd at least) Now the reason i dont think that hansels over 4M ca need a TON of Towers up is because when someone sees a 4M comb hansel they are not thinking assassinate, they are thinking scout bomb, Why? Because scout bombing bypasses your SPD pots making it easy to pin even a T5 BC hansel. Now the Reason i have a few SPD towers up is for (like i stated previously) makes them use more spies as well as increasing their chances of failing. If i were to put up 10 Towers it would rediculously cripple my offence, as an OSW fanatic my best defence is my offense. Also Currently im working on my spd BFA throught Paladin items...so that helps

Now in conclusion- OP u should put up a FEW T5 LVL3 Spd towers. (Sidenote: all hansels during EE war should sell all adp b/c it will increase their plunder off you.)

I made the switch, I think it's worth it. I try to do every estoc war though. If you don't want to war, keep your build as it is. If you want to war, switch it up. I make right at 30 mil first Hilton haunts with ee5. I also added a few att buildings, so my low land now has no SOS on it.

 

My haunt plunder dropped from 43.6M to 38.4 with the addition of 3 towers to the 2 existing
