Completely illogical... someone explain

  1. Let me preface this post by stating all of the buildings mentioned were at max level. No allies were hired away and I remained above cap. All of the attacks use to generate these numbers were against the SAME max OSF in the SAME pwar all at once. I have 35 lands unlocked and while replacing guilds with titan I came across some illogical numbers.

33 guilds with 1 circle of elements generated 32,002,000 in ally bonus

32 guilds with 1 circle of elements and 1 titans lair generated 32,968,000 in ally bonus (so it was assumed by me at the time that titans generated more ally bonus)

31 guild guilds 1 circle of elements and 2 titan lairs generated 31,868,000 in ally bonus.

So it would make sense to me, although stupid, if Titan Lairs generated less ally bonus than guilds... But how does having 1 give me a higher bonus than having 0, and having 2 give me less of a bonus than having both 0 OR 1. SOMEONE has to understand how this works a little better than all the guides and previous posts explain. Does KAW have no game theorists? Thanks to those who attempt to help an explain.

  2. Your soldiers were on vacation; give them a week and try again.

  3. Explaination: KaW is ****** up devs broke it :(

  4. Someone will explain this better than me, but there is a tipping point with guilds, lairs and SOS that varies depending on the combination. Have seen others have the same issue converting guild to SOS: loss up to a point followed by increased plunder once enough were converted. If someone has some firm numbers, it would be great. 

  5. That would make sense... I am pretty annoyed I wasted 55 bil on two worse buildings for me at the time.

I am not super clear about what you mean but was kind of under the assumption that it was diminishing returns following a parabolic pattern... I think ive personally figured out a theory and if anyone can agree with this, offer input, or disprove this... Please do:

Say guilds provide a base of 919,000ish plunder bonus (which they gave me until I was pretty far in) when attacking a max OSF... The 919k maximum is only what you get when you are under, let's say for hypothetical purposes, 1 mil combined stats...

When over the 1 mil mark you start to get less plunder value per building as your stats rise (diminishing returns on value) but at a point these diminishing returns cap out and you still retain re base amount.

Say titans provide 1,800,000 as a base plunder value... Having added one Titans lair did not put me over the stat maximum where I started to receive diminishing returns... So I received the full benefit in ally bonus from the first titans lair... But the second I destroyed another guild and replaced it with a Titan lair; it rose my stats so significantly that I started experiencing a significant decline (1.1 million less plunder than with just 1 titan) from being well past the diminishing returns stat cap.

With this theory, in order to HLBC as fast as possible it's best to just ride out the game building guilds until you start receiving diminishing returns on the amount of plunder guilds give... Then you would save up a bunch of money and replace maybe 15 guilds all at once with a max level titans lair.

Any input on this post would be well appreciated.

  6. PS:
    Note to developers

This game is severely worsened by things like this being ambiguous. No one would enjoy the game less if you released things like plunder bonus formulas; you would probably get a LOT more people like me to stick around... People who are interested in the game but lose interest later on because of illogical things without explanation. If I understood what was going on more clearly I wouldn't feel like I'm wasting weeks of time generating money to buy buildings which may or may not be the building in the first place because it's detrimental to my growth. Take my advice and this can be a well organized time management game that more people will play, pay, and enjoy.

  7. How many hits does a hansel with a lvl 3 war aviary get?

  8. Your ally plunder may have dropped due to the "size bonus" that you received as you had crossed a threshold where it dropped.

Can you confirm that your total plunder also dropped? Did the normal plunder gained by your troops counteract the ally plunder loss?

  9. Titans give 5% ally bonus which is apparently more than guilds

  10. It's not more than guilds if you're beyond the stat cap tipping point and not deep in, Grammar. I just proved that if you read the first post. And I can confirm 100% that I earned less plunder, not just plunder bonus, even if I ignore the use of the guilds spies. With only 35 lands unlocked and all guilds with 1 circle of elements I had just under 33mil in Allie bonus and a full unload (26 attacks because I had a balanced building) was about 700 million gold from just attacks. My first steal gave 11 million also. I am making about 800 mil from a full attack and spy unload with the 35 lands.

  11. Strange, I tested this my self. I converted all my lvl3 circs to lvl1 titans one by one. Despite everyones assumptions both my stats AND plunder went up each time.

At one point when I started to convert them to lvl2 it did drop for no reason but the next day it was fine again.

    Maybe it was a glitch?

  12. circs are different than guilds... The titans get a 5% bonus to plunder... As for getting more plunder from having level 1 titans... Thanks for pointing that out because I forgot to mention that the diminishing returns also aplly to building other than guilds. Like I said earlier if you're below the diminishing returns stat maximum cap you will get more plunder bonus from having less stats and weaker buildings... The extra plunder bonus adds up to be more overall plunder than getting more regular plunder from attacks.

In a lot of situations with this data I have uncovered through minimal testing a level 1 Titan will in fact generate more money than a level 3 Titan because the ally bonus generated is so much that it more than compensates for the amount of money generated from normal plunder. If you are starting to get above the stat maximum before diminishing returns kick in upgrading high stat buildings will generate LESS plunder than a low stat building with a high plunder bonus value. A level 3 circ has a higher plunder bonus base value... But because it gives the most stats in the game it lessens your plunder bonus SIGNIFICANTLY because it starts giving you those diminished returns from being "too strong". Let me say this again in caps with exclamation points so people start to realize how stupid this is... And maybe consider reading all the other stuff I've said too.

A LEVEL 1 TITAN LAIR WILL IN MANY SITUATIONS GENERATE MORE PLUNDER THAN A LEVEL 3 TITAN LAIR!!!

  13. yeah. i think i am going to stop playing this game.

hey devs. fire the person who thought it would be a great idea to slow down the rate of income growth while at the same time dramatically increasing the cost of lands.

because of them, you just lost the money that i had been previously considering spending on nobs.

  14. Once your stats hit a certain level, your "underdog" bonus begins to fade.

You know how you get more gold when you hit a strong person versus a weak person?

Once you built the next building, the OSF was no longer stronger than you, so that plunder bonus went down.

  15. There's nothing broken about it. Anyone who thinks so is most likely a PW noob

  16. i understand why it goes down. that isn't really the point. it is just that i realized that how long i would be doing the same thing every day.

ebs n pws get real old, real fast. rws are not profitable. farming is not profitable.

for awhile i was under the impression that my income would continue to increase at a relatively stable rate, but it doesn't. i would have been content with linear growth. but it is a diminishing rate. at the same time, the cost of each new land goes up dramatically.

taken all together, this game is the definition of repetitive boredom. maybe a few fun people to chat with, but that is it.

  17. Try farming iG, foxes, chaos reborn or Zaft. That would make the game A LOT less boring for you...

(or maybe more since you'd be pinned for a couple months lol)

  18. iPimella made a good point. Part of the devs formula is relative strength of your opponent. Also a potted opponent will pay better than a non-potted opponent.

  19. Your total stats changed. Your ally plunder therefore changed.

  20. It's strange. I suggest you get sexwulf or missmelon to come on this thread
